Our family of five enjoyed touring three of the major basilicas in Rome with our guide, Pia, and our driver, Stephano. Pia was very informative and we appreciated having a driver to take us each basilica. Definitely worthwhile and highly recommend!

An excellent introduction to the major basilicas of Rome. Our guide, Pia, was superb and her knowledge base is impressive. I wish I were younger and could take one of her classes! Would definitely recommend this tour, and Pia, to others.

Our tour of the major basilica’s was nothing short of spectacular. Our wonderful guide explained so much about papal history and details within each one, and how they differ based on when they were first constructed. Our driver was superb and got right next to the entrance of each place.

Our driver and guide did an amazing job at getting us from place to place in comfort an ease of access. Pia was very knowledgeable and great at providing a detailed description of the four beautiful basilica's we visited. I will definitely ask for her by name for my net trip to Rome in two years!

Fabiola is Simply Fabulous!
I had a private tour with Fabiola of the three basilicas, namely the Basilica of St. Paul, the Basilica of St. John Lateran and the Basilica of Mary Major. The reason was simply to visit the holy doors which are only open every 25 years (and some rare ones in-between on special occasions -- just like the 2016 one!). She was by in a league of her own in term of amount of knowledge; and she explains all in good English -- she is definitely a gem.
The tour agency also provides comfy SUV for the private tour, which is great, as the churches are not near to each other. Also, Bojan and Jillian are very prompt in their responses in replying emails.

I used The Roma Guy for two private tours for our family. To say that The Roman Guy provided an excellent tour and Rome experience would be an understatement. Our family did the private driving tour of Rome and loved it. Hilaria the guide was an absolute angel and so knowledgeable. Fabio the driver was amazing, they were both so fantastic that we requested them again for the following tour. Together Hilaria and Fabio were the dream team. Hilaria was also very caring and sweet towards my elderly mother.
Our family also took the private Basilicas tour. Julia our guide was so amazing, she made the tour so fun and special for us. Julia also took extra special care of our elderly mother on the tour. They learned so much about the different churches with Julia. The whole family loved her! We lucked out with Fabio again, not only an amazing driver but looked like he stepped right off the cover of GQ! What a great guy he was!

She spent HOURS with me on the phone helping me select the tours and helped me with restaurant recommendations and a ton of other questions that I had. She helped me customize the private tour to include something that we wanted to see. Jillan this trip would not have been as amazing without all your help and good advice. I am so grateful to you. You know you stuff and were so generous with your time. I would highly recommend The Roma Guy, they made such great memories for my family in Rome.
