We booked 2 tours through the tour guy. Eleonora was our guide for the Colosseum and she was very knowledgeable and it was obvious she loved to share it with us. Elizabeth for the Vatican was the same. We will definitely use the tour guy for all future travels!!!

Very calm and relaxing - Patricia is just what we needed on our Colosseum tour. She was attentive to my father’s needs as he has recently been needing to walk with a cane. She was also very informative and had answers to all of our questions.
Thank you and I’ll be recommending The Tour Guy for private tours in Rome and other cities. This was the second consecutive day of amazing experiences.

We had Giovanni Danna as our guide for a private tour of the Colosseum, forum and surrounding area. The breadth and scope of his knowledge of Roman history in connection with these sites and in general was astounding. Moreover, his presentation of these facts was vivid and engrossing.

We took a private tour of the Forum and Colosseum with Bogdon, a very pleasant and knowledgeable young man. This was our second private tour with "The Roman Guy" in two days (other one was the Vatican) and I highly recommend both The Roman Guy and private tours as a way to best use your time while in Rome. Bogdon provided wonderful insights for both my wife and I, who have been here before, and for our granddaughter who was here for the first time. Well done!

We absolutely loved our private tour of the Colosseum and surrounding area and especailly loved our tour guide Paola! She was so knowledgeable and fun! This was our last tour of a 2 week vacation so our teenaged sons were pretty tired but she kept it light and kept them engaged the whole time. We learned so much from her. We did all private tours on this vacation and was hands down the best money we've ever spent. Having a private guide truly lets you absorb everything you're hearing and being able to engage with your guide one on one is great! She was so prepared and had so many additional photos for us to look at to help visualize. This was one of if not our favorite tours of our trip and we would recommend to anyone looking. We will definitely look up Paola in the future if we return!

Giovanni our tour guide, was the most precious soul! :) Not knowing at the start of our tour that day, he would end up being the highlight of it all :) He took care of us on our tour, as my mother had mobility issues, and had to make adjustments. His knowledge of everything and how he presented it, made all the differnce in understanding Roma's history. My mother, who is 71, and I had a private tour with Giovanni, and what an absolute blessing he was to have! He made our expierence that much more amazing. Going to Rome was a lifetime dream for my mom, and you would think she would do nothing but talk about what all she saw, but rather talked about how much she loved, and enjoyed Giovanni. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Giovanni for everything you did for us that day! We will remember you forever and always, and know you made our expierence that much more amazing!
