Rome Evening Cocktail Tour

The cocktail tour was as much fun as it was advertised to be, and Alessandro Ciccone was a superb guide. Because I had booked this as a totally private tour, his broad knowledge and outgoing personality allowed me to get a real feel for the culture and life of Rome in a context that was very different from the typical tourist experience. You are lucky to have him.

So much fun!

Mario was an absolutely wonderful guide and host for this event! It was so much fun, and he was so knowledgeable on the Roman. Highly recommend this tour and especially Mario for your guide!!!

Don't think, just book it!

My family had the best time on this tour with our guide, Mario! He was so much fun & super knowledgable about all things Rome. As a local, he had a unique perspective on the city and insights to all the hidden gems of Rome. It was clear Mario and his team had but a lot of thought into the cocktail tour, between the bars we stopped in & the historic sites we saw along the way. We were ready to add Mario to our family by the end of the tour -- don't think, just book this tour!!!

Matteo for the win 🏆

Three 40-something Americans and a Roman walk into a bar... Our cocktail tour with Matteo started off with a splash (aka a downpour), but we didn't let the weather stop us from having a wonderful few hours of spritzes (of many styles and flavors), tasty snacks, and even a chocolate shot at the end. Matteo is a talented, fun, and extremely knowledgeable tour guide who showed us all around his city. While we debated American history (and even had to google a few things) Matteo walked us through the entire history of Rome with no googling or notes required. He's a fantastic guide and tolerated our MANY questions about Roman life (past and present). Thank you, Matteo!

Great start!

Favoloso!

A coworker recommended The Tour Guy and a cocktail tour was not exactly what I had in mind for my sister, niece, and me when I sought to book a tour that would help us get our bearings during our short time in Rome. In the end, I was so glad it was the only available option because the tour surpassed our expectations many times over. Our guide was so smart and engaging, and shared important historical context and many fun and interesting insights as he led us through several interesting neighborhoods and various venues to enjoy Italy's wonderful aperitvo tradition. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I'd definitely book with The Tour Guy again the next time I'm in a new city. Grazie mille!

Fun with Cocktails and Roman Culture

Matteo was an excellent guide and teacher for everything Rome had to offer from cocktails to historical sites and places that would not be easily found for an average tourist. He shared with us the details of life in Rome and other regions beyond to include Sicily and Sardinia. The places we went for cocktails were exciting and fun. Each with their own theme and specialty to include food. Our time with Mateo was excellent and helpful for our understanding of Italy and the life within.

Good tour. Great guide.

Our guide, Oscar, was exceptionally knowledgeable. The local drinks and snacks were great but his knowledge of all the buildings and structures we past while walking through the streets of Rome made this experience exceptional.

Awesome Experience

We had a great time with our guide Davide! He showed us some excellent local places and recommended traditional cocktails to try. He pointed out interesting facts about the historical monuments and current culture as we walked through the city.

Excellent fun evening

We had an amazing time with Mateo as our guide. He know the city so well and was so easy to talk to. The stops were all beautiful. The last stop was so fun. Lots of laughs along the way.

Excellent way to learn the city

Our guide Michele was great. We learned about the history and traditions of the city plus how the locals live. Excellent for the first night in Rome.

Bars & History

Mario provided us with a pleasant stroll through parts of Rome we would not have found ourselves with an informative chat on the history and legends of ancient and medieval Rome with cocktails at iconic bars. Just the two of us with Mario. Thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

Fun evening

We had a very fun night with Michele. We visited 4 diverse locations for a drink and a nosh. Along the way, we learned a lot about Rome. Some history, some art, some culture, a few hidden gems, and some important information about gelato. We highly recommend this tour as a break from the museums and lines.
