We had a lot of fun on the Appian Way e-bike tour. Sadaf was great! She made sure the group stayed together (in Rome traffic, a little hard to do). She was nice and informative. The food could have been a little bit better, but the view from the restaurant was awesome! We had a great time, and Sadaf really made all the difference!

We can’t say enough how great this tour is! To get out of the city and see what is beyond the wall is so nice. Our tour guide Chris was so knowledgeable and helpful all along the way. This is definitely not a casual bike ride. It’s long and a bit challenging in parts but the scenery is just stunning and the pace if very doable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who comes to Rome. To be on the road that Jesus and the Apostles walked is unbelievable and to experience it on bikes is perfect.

We were on a 17-day trip through Italy and as a result went on several organized tours! And without exaggeration, this tour was by far the BEST of all the ones we took! And the #1 reason for my rating has to be our intrepid tour guide, Alex! In addition to being very personable, charming, and funny, he was also exceptionally knowledgeable. We learned a lot and laughed a lot and had a fantastic time even though the day itself was a bit overcast, and a drop or two of rain even fell on us! But none of that got us down because Alex is so good at his job! My advice to you, take this tour & ask for Alex!
Fun!!!
We had a great time! The Appian way, catacombs , a city park, and a few city streets. Scenery was pretty. It was nice to be on bikes while touring. The electric mountain bikes were easy to use. Just know you’re not riding on flat, city sidewalks the whole time! Lorenzo is a fun tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and loves being a guide. Highly recommend!
Fantastic Tour!
Our entire family enjoyed this tour with Ricardo. It was awesome to see parts of Rome we otherwise would have missed. We enjoyed it all, but Aqueduct Park was everyone’s favorite part of the tour. Hope to return sometime!
Seneca's tomb!
Loved it! So nice to get out of the noisy city. The catacombs were eerie and fascinating. The Roman road and Appian Way were intriguing. Could see the ancient ruts on the road. We love stoicism so seeing Seneca's tomb was an unexpected treat. Loved seeing the aqueducts up close. First time on an e-bike and appreciated the assist. Ricardo was a great guide and answered our many questions. Unlike any tour we've ever done. So glad we did!

Best tour in Italy so far!
This tour and companies (Tour Guy & STARBIKES) were wonderful to work with on getting the tour booked and smooth transaction all the way through. Great communications! The best feature was our tour guide Alex. He was brilliant and made the tour fun, enjoyable and very informative! He was kind, patient and friendly. We felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend when we left! This this guy a raise! Again...absolutely the best tour...and the e-bikes were pretty cool too!
Great Rome Bike Ride Tour
One of the best tours we've ever done. Our guide, Iman, was professional, knowledgeable and caring that all participants were safe and enjoying every part of our 5 hour experience. Would highly recommend.

This e-bike tour was the perfect way to explore Rome beyond the usual sights. Riding along the ancient Appian Way was both scenic and surreal, and the visit to the Catacombs of St. Callixtus added a fascinating historical touch.

My husband and I had a thrilling experience on this bike tour on September 6. Our guide was so helpful. We had only used an electric bike once before but he was patient the entire time. There was only one other couple along (please email me pictures if you see this review, I had left my phone behind) so it was really like a private tour. My husband had a flat tired but help came right away and we were on our way again. It felt great to go on the outskirts of Rome and ride along the paths without any traffic or crowds. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to get some exercise and feel guilt free eating gelato after!
Great individualized tour
You will ride along the Appian Way -- something the other Rome tours don't do. The Catacombs are a must-see and this is a great way to get there. The individual attention was great. I would like to recommend softer bike seats for us older people.
