Good to know:
Dress Code: Comfortable athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes are required for cycling.
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible. This tour includes around 16 miles (25 km) of biking.
Weather Advisory: This tour runs year-round and operates in most weather conditions; dress in layers and bring a light rain jacket if needed.
Age Requirement: Infants under 5 years old can sit in a child seat; children 6-10 years old will be able use a trailer bike.
Please Note: Prior biking experience is not required, but comfort on a bike is recommended for maximum enjoyment.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can depart on time.

My only regret is that I didn’t verify the spelling of my guide’s name—Gio, I think. She was deeply informed about Roman history and also a careful, attentive tour leader. This mattered since I’m an experienced bicyclist and reasonably fit, but also 70 years old, and she made sure I was safe and unstressed throughout the trip. Highly recommended.

Hello, Was a great adventure outside the main city. Lots to see and enjoy. Avi our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. She watched out our safety while crossing busy intersections and was enjoyable throughout the trip. The group was small but eclectic, people from Australia, Israel, USA all friendly. Ricardo was an excellent guide for our group of two families with older teenage boys. We biked out of the city for the 1-4 tour and enjoyed seeing Rome from a completely different perspective. It was a beautiful day and a fun way to spend with the kids. I highly recommend the tour. It was very enjoyable and educational-highly liked by all!

What a nice way to get outside of Rome for a few hours. This tour was what we hoped it would be. After a little city maneuvering we were seeing some of the most amazing sights of Rome we would have missed had we not taken this tour. Riding on the Appian Way and looking at the still standing ancient structures had me in awe. Our tour guide Marco explaining everything along the way made it so informative. From the construction of the aqueducts to the monuments places on the trail to remember those who had passed to the mid tour stop for refreshments, Marco was the perfect guide. Strongly suggest this tour as my family had a wonderful time.

Really great tour. Nice easy route, almost car free for half of the tour. Niko was well spoken and very informative. Bike was easy to handle and did well on the cobbles. Riding past the old city walls and Claudia Aqueduct was a real thrill!!

This tour was a highlight of our trip. Our group included a couple of very comfortable riders, a couple of adults who hadn't ridden a bike in years, and a small child in a bike seat behind his dad. Our guide was knowledgeable and very accommodating of the different ability-levels in the group. Most of the ride took place outside the city where there was minimal car traffic. The most enjoyable part of the ride was through the aqueducts park where the bike/pedestrian paths were wide and even. One of our riders was very sore after four hours of using muscles not used to such activity, but even she said she wouldn't have missed it.
