Rome’s Appian Way Tour by E-Bike

Great Family Outing

This tour was a highlight of our trip. Our group included a couple of very comfortable riders, a couple of adults who hadn't ridden a bike in years, and a small child in a bike seat behind his dad. Our guide was knowledgeable and very accommodating of the different ability-levels in the group. Most of the ride took place outside the city where there was minimal car traffic. The most enjoyable part of the ride was through the aqueducts park where the bike/pedestrian paths were wide and even. One of our riders was very sore after four hours of using muscles not used to such activity, but even she said she wouldn't have missed it.

Appian Way E-bike tour

We had a fantastic time biking the Appian Way, aqueduct park, and Caffarella park. Emilio was very knowledgeable, reliable, and patient with our 17 month old son. Would definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking to experience ancient history among beautiful scenery in Rome.

Fun and interesting

Veronica was a helpful, friendly and organized guide. She took her time leading our small group and provided regular stops with interesting information. The four hour ride was through lovely countryside and along interesting bike trails. The e-bikes were well maintained and appreciated on some of the more challenging parts of the ride. Highly recommended

Best day in Rome

Appian way bike tour is a must. Our guide Ricardo was charismatic and made the trip fun and stopped many times along the way to explain the history as well as let us take pictures and rest. Great way to get out of the hussle and bussel of Rome and enjoy the parks. Highly recommend.

Favorite of multiple Rome tours!

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary in Rome and included many tours. This was our favorite! The e-bikes were really easy to use and great way to see multiple areas. This tour had many park like settings outside of the big city. Flavio was a top notch guide! He was very engaging and included lots of fun history. Five stars all the way!!

Times Appian Way Bike Tour

Excellent! Recommend it highly. In addition to the Appian Way, You will see parts of Rome most visitors don’t. Our guide was knowledgeable, polite, patient and funny. EBikes made it an easy ride. Only thing I would change is to have more time on the Appian Way to absorb the sights and history.
