Rome’s Appian Way Tour by E-Bike

A Beautiful Day

Ricardo was an excellent guide for our group of two families with older teenage boys. We biked out of the city for the 1-4 tour and enjoyed seeing Rome from a completely different perspective. It was a beautiful day and a fun way to spend with the kids. I highly recommend the tour. It was very enjoyable and educational-highly liked by all!

Awesome

What a nice way to get outside of Rome for a few hours. This tour was what we hoped it would be. After a little city maneuvering we were seeing some of the most amazing sights of Rome we would have missed had we not taken this tour. Riding on the Appian Way and looking at the still standing ancient structures had me in awe. Our tour guide Marco explaining everything along the way made it so informative. From the construction of the aqueducts to the monuments places on the trail to remember those who had passed to the mid tour stop for refreshments, Marco was the perfect guide. Strongly suggest this tour as my family had a wonderful time.

Appian Way E-bike Tour

Great tour and history lesson. Our guide Alex was amazing, highly recommend this specific guide. He went above and beyond in accomodation and knowledge. Scenery was beautiful.

Iman was an amazing guide, it was incredible how much he know about Ancient Rome! The ride was great and so beautiful (but not an ‘easy ride’)!

Appian Way Tour

Really great tour. Nice easy route, almost car free for half of the tour. Niko was well spoken and very informative. Bike was easy to handle and did well on the cobbles. Riding past the old city walls and Claudia Aqueduct was a real thrill!!

Great Family Outing

This tour was a highlight of our trip. Our group included a couple of very comfortable riders, a couple of adults who hadn't ridden a bike in years, and a small child in a bike seat behind his dad. Our guide was knowledgeable and very accommodating of the different ability-levels in the group. Most of the ride took place outside the city where there was minimal car traffic. The most enjoyable part of the ride was through the aqueducts park where the bike/pedestrian paths were wide and even. One of our riders was very sore after four hours of using muscles not used to such activity, but even she said she wouldn't have missed it.

Appian Way E-bike tour

We had a fantastic time biking the Appian Way, aqueduct park, and Caffarella park. Emilio was very knowledgeable, reliable, and patient with our 17 month old son. Would definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking to experience ancient history among beautiful scenery in Rome.
