With only one full day in Rome, this was the perfect tour for us. It was all they said it would be, and our guide Maria made sure we hit all the spots. It was definitely exhausting … lots and lots of walking and climbing - but well worth all the effort!
Excellent Day in Rome

Our tour guide did a phenomenal job showing us as much as possible of Rome in a day. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. We learned a lot, got a lot of great pictures, and made some great memories. It was a long day with a lot of walking, but our guide made it fun!

A fabulous day of seeing some of Rome’s treasures. Monica was very professional, kept us on schedule, and most importantly very knowledgeable. She answered every question fully. I also liked that she seemed to be very well respected by other guides we met throughout the day and at our stops. A truly AMAZING Day. Very highly recommended.
A great one day in Rome

Recommended! We had only a short time to stay in Rome but this tour would be a great start even if staying longer. Only exception is if you really wanted to focus on the Vatican. This Rome in a day Tour starts at the Vatican so you would have to reenter to spend more time. Guide was very informative and understandable.

Once in a lifetime opportunity and Maria (our guide) made it spectacular. She is very clever and knowledgeable on her facts about Rome. Don’t forget the best lasagna in all of Rome is in her home.
Would recommend 10/10

The tour guide was exceptional.
In a past self-tour of the Vatican I had 3 hours as well as a drive-by all of the other sights to see in Rome. To have to do the Vatican Museum and no Sistine Chapel (I do understand the reason for not seeing the Sistine Chapel) in 1.5 hours is a little insane. As was the walking tour through Navonna Plaza, the Pantheon. We finally stopped at the Trevi Fountain (that had so many people - you could only see the statues above the fountain) for a 30 minute lunch. The two places that were viewed at a slower pace was the Forum and the Colessium.
There was no time to stop for a souvenier from the Vatican Museum shop, no time to explore the Plaza Navona and I had expected to see the inside of the Pantheon.
The description of the tour needs to be clearer - that you get to view and not explore the sights.
In addition, the fact that I received an email the morning of the tour advising that it included a lot of stairs - was unacceptable - as already addressed.

Loved the tour. The guide was amazing. Disappointed we had to find our own way back though. That cost a lot of extra money and the tour was quite expensive as it was.
