Meet your private guide near the Colosseum
Your evening starts on Via di San Giovanni in Laterano, just across from the Colosseum. You meet your English-speaking driver-guide and climb into an electric tuk tuk. With only your group on board, your guide talks you through the plan for seeing Rome after dark.
Ride up to Passeggiata del Pincio for sunset views
Cruise uphill in your private tuk tuk to Passeggiata del Pincio, a favorite lookout above Piazza del Popolo. From the terrace, domes and rooftops stretch across the skyline. Your guide points out the main landmarks so you can get your bearings before heading back into the streets.
Swing past Piazza del Popolo and central Rome
Roll down toward Piazza del Popolo, framed by twin churches and an ancient obelisk at its center. From your seat in the tuk tuk, you hear how this grand square once welcomed travelers arriving in Rome. Evening light, statues, and steady traffic give you an easy first feel for the city at night.
Cruise by Michelangelo’s Cordonata Capitolina
Ride over to Capitoline Hill to see the Cordonata Capitolina, a broad staircase designed by Michelangelo. From the top, look out over statues, palaces, and nearby piazzas. Your guide ties today’s city hall to its ancient roots, while you enjoy the view.
Loop between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona
The route continues into the historic center, where narrow lanes open suddenly onto the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. From the tuk tuk, you can admire the Pantheon’s lit portico and the Fountain of the Four Rivers without pushing through crowds.
Wind through Trastevere in your private tuk tuk
Crossing the Tiber, you slip into Trastevere, known for tight alleys, old stone buildings, and busy piazzas. Your private tuk tuk weaves past bars, trattorias, and street musicians as the neighborhood fills up for the night. Your guide points out Santa Maria in Trastevere and a few favorite places to come back to later.

We had the evening tour on Tuesday September 15th. Fabrizio with his love of the arts, music and history of Rome made this a fantastic time. What a way to see a different side of Rome, the city lights, the monuments lit up without all the traffic and noise of day time. Fabrizio showed us different areas we had not seen. We took this tour the first night we arrived in Rome and couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the city or a better guide than Eugenio. Winding our way through ancient back roads and neighborhoods, accompanied by its incredible history as told by a native, this tour was very special. Gene was very attentive and exceptionally considerate of us two mobility impaired seniors. What a first night in Roma!!

My husband and I had the tuk tuk tour and what an incredible experience. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and so kind. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Couples, families. We had the evening tour and it was perfect on the hot summer evening. We were picked up near the Coliseum. He showed us to all of the cool places and his history knowledge was very cool. Eugenio was awesome! He reached out to us before tour and offered pickup and drop off of our choosing. At the start of the tour, he inquired into what we had seen and not seen to maximize our time with him. He gave just the right amount of history about the sights we were seeing with great enthusiasm. Seeing Rome by tuk tuk was such a great way to feel part of the crowd while covering more area. And Rome at night was such a beautiful contrast to Rome by day. I highly recommend.

Our evening with Cristiano was a great way to kick off our trip in Rome. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. You want a great experience? This is it! Our tour guide Fabrizio was amazing! He is very knowledgeable and took his time explaining the city’s history if any questions!
