Good to know:
Dress Code: As the Benedictine Monastery is a sacred place, both men and women must cover their knees and shoulders, otherwise, you may be refused entry to a portion of your Montserrat tour. We understand the summers in Barcelona are hot, so a great alternative is to bring a shawl/sweater to wrap around you when necessary.
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible.
Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can enter sites on time.

Great trip. Only issue was finding the tour guide at the designated meeting point. They did not have any sigh, they were holding a red umbrella (instructions said to look for a sign that read “Barcelona Tours)”). Other than that, Flawless.

Nacho and Angie were super helpful and engaging guides. Everyone on our tour seemed tired due to the early timing, but the two of them were able to hold everyone's attention, combining the perfect amount of humor and informational material. The tour itself was well done, and I felt that there was an appropriate amount of free time. Nacho gave some great suggestions of things to do in that time. Overall, the tour was well organized, timely, and fun! Highly recommend.

The Montserrat tour was absolutely magical! Our guide was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience so much fun. Montserrat itself is simply breathtaking, I felt like I was in another world with its unique rock formations and stunning views. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable experience :)

Perfect tour for us! We had about an hour ride in a coach bus. Angie and Roberto spent about 30 min giving us info about Barcelona and Montserrat. When we got there, the group was split in 2 ( so you weren’t with the entire coach!) Angie showed us around, gave us suggestions for things to do and then took us to see The Black Madonna. Then we had 2 hours to explore on our own. Everything was on schedule, very well explained and our guides were very knowledgeable.

Tour Guy was easy to book with and sent reminders before the trip. Muriel from City Wonders was an excellent guide and the small coach for about 15 (?) people was comfortable. Half day was the right amount of time for us to see the highlights. Meeting time was 8:45 for 9am departure. Someone didn’t make it and we left, so be on time and follow instructions.

I did the Montserrat monastery tour yesterday and it was fabulous. The guides, both Francesco and Brian were outstanding. Brian used puppets on the bus to describe the story which was the first time that I’ve ever seen that done on a tour. I thought that it was really far and above any of the tours that I have done previously in that it was unique and warm.
