From Barcelona: Day Trip to Montserrat with Tapas & Wine

AMAZING Day in Montserrrat with Vince!!!!

We started our trip in Madrid and had a few mediocre tours there so we weren’t sure what to expect. Within seconds of meeting our tour guide Vince in Barcelona, we know we were in for a great time! Incredibly knowledgeable and hysterical at the same time, he did it all. Montserrat was awesome and one of the few places we’d want to return to. The tour company did a good job lining up the busses, train to Montserrat and the winery so that everything flowed. Vince ended the tour by sharing a great list of local restaurants to try. Definitely recommend this one.

Fabulous Tour

Our Monserrat plus Wine and Tapas was a wonderful day trip from Barcelona with a great blend of cultural info, humour, activity, food and wine. But the thing that brought it all together was our exceptional tour guide Tuais who led a perfectly paced tour with just the right amount of expert information mixed with good humour. Boy Choir Bliss

Listening to the Escolania de Montserrat was like waking up in the afterlife. We did and it was so serene with the monastery set against the beautiful mountain backgrounds. It made a fantastic end to this really yummy day of tapas.

Scenic Splendor

Between St Lucia and Montserrat there was plenty of beautiful scenery along the way. The views from the monastery of the mountain are incredible. The warm plate of tapas at the end was a delicious touch.

A true cultural immersion

It was great to learn about the importance of Montserrat and to see La Moreneta. The views were amazing and the tapas was authentic Spanish.

Majestic Mountain

Montserrat is truly majestic. The size of the mountains and the grand monastery was impressive. Tapas for dessert to end a great day.

Guide's Gold

We had a great guide and he told us interesting stories about history and legends of the mountainside. Their excitement made the monastery special and views even more so.

Spiritual Serenity

It provided a great sense of peace, so Montserrat. It is beautiful and the mountain views are to die for. Although having the Boy Choir join them was a major bonus.
