Ride past the Port Vell waterfront
Pedal through the old town, pausing at Monument a Colom for views of Port Vell. Your guide shares stories about Barcelona's maritime past and points out the industrial port stretching toward the Mediterranean Sea.
Stop at Plaça d'Espanya and the Magic Fountain
Arrive at Plaça d'Espanya, where twin Venetian towers frame the old Arenas bullring. Your guide explains the 1929 International Exhibition history as you stand before the Magic Fountain, famous for its nightly water and light shows.
Visit the Museu Nacional and Barcelona Pavilion
Pause outside the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, perched on the hillside with sweeping city views. Nearby, see the Barcelona Pavilion, a modernist masterpiece by Mies van der Rohe that defined 20th-century architecture.
Explore the Olympic Stadium and Palau Sant Jordi
Ride into Barcelona's 1992 Olympic Ring to see the renovated Olympic Stadium, where opening ceremonies captivated the world. Next door, admire Palau Sant Jordi, a futuristic indoor arena designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki.
Climb to Montjuïc Castle
Pedal up to Montjuïc Castle, a fortress perched 173 meters above the harbor. From this vantage point, take in views of Barcelona's skyline, the Mediterranean Sea, and the sprawling port below while your guide recounts its history.
Return to the Gothic Quarter
Glide downhill to Carrer dels Escudellers 48, where your tour ends. You'll finish energized and ready to explore more of Barcelona, armed with insider tips from your guide on where to eat or what to see next in the city.
