Good to know:
Lines: This tour grants you group access to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica. While you'll bypass the long line for independent visitors, there may still be a wait to get through security.
Closures: St. Peter’s Basilica is closed on Wednesday mornings until 1:30pm, due to the Papal Audience. Tours during this time will not include basilica entry. Additionally, tours starting after 3:30pm (any day of the week) are not guaranteed entry into St. Peter’s Basilica. During state visits or special religious events, parts of the Vatican or St. Peter's Basilica may be closed unexpectedly and without much notice.
Dress Code: As the Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel are deeply religious sites, everyone must cover their knees and shoulders. Guests who do not meet the dress code may be refused entry by security officials. No hats or flip flops please.
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible. A foldable umbrella stroller can be utilized in the Vatican Museums, but cannot be utilized through the exclusive staircase into St. Peter's Basilica. A soft baby carrier is recommended.
Please Note: The Sistine Chapel is a place of worship, so visitors are not allowed to speak inside the chapel. Your guide will explain what you'll see in advance.

We joined this tour in September it was great - our tour leader Rudy was fantastic! I also found the customer service staff incredibly helpful as we realised around 24 hours out that we had made a mistake with the date of our booking. I sent a text late at night to the customer service number and it was all sorted with 2 hours by a very helpful staff member. Fabulous service!!

Gina was amazing. Loved her energy and her fun way of explaining the Vatican. Wouldn’t want a different tour guide. Only reason for the 4 was due to the over crowding since the Pope was in and St. Peter Basilica was closed.

Fabrizio was great to guided us through the packed Vatikan museums, with a lot of energy, enthusiasm and a great sense of humor. He managed to share his knowledge of the popes and artists and left me with a sense of curiosity to learn more. The best that can happen in such circumstances. Grazie Mille Fabrizio! Happy to have chosen “ the Roman guy”

Cecelia was our guide on a semi-private tour of the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. She was personable, fun, engaging, and so informative of the things we saw. We enjoyed the entire tour and the ability to really see areas of the Vatican museums only accessible to small groups. I would recommend this tour.
