Meet Your Guide in Syntagma Square
Your evening of meandering through the charming streets of Athens begins in Syntagma Square. Make your way to the front of the Nike store, where your local guide and small group of fellow travelers will be waiting. Your guide will be holding a sign, so keep an eye out in case you have any trouble locating the group!
Watch the Changing of the Guards
Once all your group members have been gathered, your immersive tour through ancient Athens will begin immediately. Follow your guide to the front of the Greek Parliament, where you will have the opportunity to witness the famous changing of the guards, which takes place every hour in front of the historic building.
Here, you will also see the tomb of the unknown soldier, which your guide will explain in detail.

After watching the iconic changing of the guards, follow your guide through Athens’ idyllic streets and charming squares. Pass by quaint cafes, lively pubs, and vibrant restaurants as you observe local life within this electrifying city. Our tour guide (I think her name was Thespina? (in Greek) or Debbie (in English)) was so nice and caring. She had so much to share and tell us throughout the tour. It's the little details that she shared with us at each site that made it memorable. I was also very lucky to be with other travellers who were nice and kind, even two lovely ladies who were in their 70's and 80's who kept up with all the hills and walking. Dinner was great, but I wished the restaurant served a traditional greek dessert instead of just apple slices with cinnamon. Regardless, the restaurant food was great and the staff there was very nice and hardworking.

Our "Athens by Night Walking Tour with Dinner" was a great experience. Our guide did a great job guiding us through the historic Athens Neighborhoods while pointing out and explaining various points of interest. We covered a lot of ground but it didn't seem like too much. The dinner at the end was local and great. Highly recommend!
