Loved it

Dmitiria took us to places off the beaten path that included a taverna, souvelaki, charcuterie, the food market, and ended with loukoumades. She spoke to us about her Greek heritage and experience with food and shared interesting foods and stories. The group got along well and we enjoyed each other's company. She was kind and sensitive to our individual experiences. Highly recommend!

Amazing Food Tour!

My wife and I went on this food tour while staying in Athens. I must say it exceeded our expectations. Dimitra, our guide, was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable in the local Greek food and did a great job of explaining the different types of food that was being served to us. We stopped at three different restaurants for various courses throughout this tour. Dimitra brought us to places that other Food Tours did not go to and she knew the owners of the restaurants at each stop. We even stopped at a local place to get a Gyros to take out for later that night, after the tour. Extra bonus is that she brought us through the local fish and meat market. Most importantly, the food was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this tour and would request Dimitra as your guide.

Best Local Food Tour !

My granddaughter and I had the Best Tour Guide in Athens, Nadros (spelled name wrong). He took the time to explain all aspects of the local food in Athens. I HIGHLY recommend this tour and Nadros. You will not be disappointed!

Best Tour guide ever!!

We had so much fun with our guide Tonya. The food was amazing (and lots of it!) and we learned so much about Greek culture and history. We highly recommend to anyone visiting Athens!

Yummy Foods! Bang for your buck!

Anna, our tour guide, was funny and knowledgeable about greek culture and food. We had many tasty snacks, drinks and a couple proper meals. We couldn't even eat our gyro in the end, so we took it home. Definitely give the tour a shot to get a better understanding of greek food, while walking around!

Outstanding

Guide was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic. All three of us couples on the tour seemed to click from the start. I cannot believe the amount and quality of food. So glad we did this as our first tour in Athens.

I would recommend this tour to everyone. I learned slot about Greece and enjoyed the local dishes too. Anyone visiting Athens should put this on their list of to dos.

A must do in Athens

First thing- make sure not to eat before your tour! You'll want to be as hungry as possible because you're going to try so many local specialities and you'll want to enjoy all of them. Our guide, Andreas, was phenomenal. We walked all over the neighborhood stopping in at different restaurants, bakeries, etc. We even go to tour the local meat and fish markets. Get out of your comfort and make sure to try everything even if you think you don't like certain foods. I don't drink coffee but I definitely tried the Greek coffee at our bakery stop with the yummy Greek donuts. You've got to eat anyway so you might as well do it with an expert taking you around to all the best places and dishes!

Best tour in Athens!!

Our guide Dora was amazing. She remembered all our names, where we are from, as well food preferences. Includes wine, olive oil, and vinegar tastings. Interesting art and graffiti on the walk as well. Family with teens through seniors. Our favorite tour of trip. Thank you!

Wonderful 4 hours of seeing, tasting and enjoying a great range of Greek foods and drinks. I particularly liked the meat market. Our guide was excellent, very warm and friendly, engaging with us all.

Wonderful afternoon in Athens

The variety of food and drink was amazing. The pace was casual. Who knew you could spend four hours walking, eating, and drinking. This is one of the best ways to see a city and learn of the culture by doing a food tour. Our guide, Pascor, knew his stuff. Excellent in every way, and well worth the cost.

FUN AND FOOD

Fun time and great food

The tour took us to 6 different stops where we got to try a variety of different Greek foods and drink. We also got a tour through the open market which was interesting to say the least. We were a group of 10, 6 friends and 2 parties of 2. Everyone got along and we all had a great time. Our tour guide was knowledgable and made sure everything ran smoothly at each stop. We learned a lot about Greek food and drinks as we tasted our way through the area filled with restaurants and cafes. You get quite a bit of food along the way, and unfortunately we could hardly touch the food at our last stop. The bites we had of it were fantastic. My only wish was for one of the stops with sweet foods would have come towards the end. Overall it was a fantastic tour. Highly recommend.
