Your tour begins at your Athens hotel
Your driver picks you up bright and early from your Athens city center hotel. Settle in for a comfortable transfer to Rafina Port, the ferry gateway to the Cyclades islands.
Sail the Aegean on a high-speed ferry
After arriving at the port, board the fast ferry from Rafina and watch the islands drift past on the way to Mykonos. About 2.5 hours later, dock and then hop on a local bus that carries you straight into the heart of Mykonos Town.
Follow the whitewashed alleys of Mykonos Town
With your tour leader, set off on a 60-minute photo walking tour through the maze of Cycladic alleys. Whitewashed houses trimmed in blue frame every turn, and bougainvillea spills over stone walls as you go.
Spot the famous pelican in Little Venice
Next, wander into Little Venice, where 18th-century captains' houses hang right over the water. Keep an eye out for the island's celebrity pelican, who often struts along the waterfront between the cafes.
Climb to the windmills of Mykonos
Then it's a short walk uphill to the iconic 16th-century windmills, once used to grind grain for passing ships. From this hilltop perch, take in sweeping views over Mykonos Town and the deep blue Aegean Sea.
Enjoy free time to shop, swim, and lunch
Browse the boutiques of Matoyannia, the island's high-end shopping district, at your own pace. Grab a traditional Greek lunch at a seaside taverna, then cool off with a swim in the clear Aegean waters nearby.
Cruise back across the Aegean
In the late afternoon, meet your tour leader and board the return ferry to Rafina. Relax on deck as the Cyclades fade behind you and the Greek mainland slowly comes back into view.
Your tour ends at your Athens hotel
Finally, your driver meets the group at Rafina for the transfer back into the city. Expect to arrive at your Athens hotel with a camera roll full of island views to prove this day really is possible.

Hotel pick-up: Please include your accommodation details in the "additional info" section during checkout. Free pick-up and drop-off is offered for hotels within 5 km (3 miles) of the Athens city center. For hotels outside this area, pick-up may be available at an extra cost, or you can meet your driver in central Athens.
Seasonal Schedule: From April 18 to May 24 and from September 18 onward, the ferry departs Mykonos at 16:00 instead of 17:45, so time on the island is around 5 hours instead of 7.
Weather Advisory: Ferry timetables are subject to change due to weather conditions, and sailing bans may be issued up to 1 hour before departure. If this occurs, you'll be offered a full refund or a new date based on availability.
Minimum Travelers: This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it's canceled because the minimum isn't met, you'll be offered a different date, a different experience, or a full refund.
