Your tour begins near the Acropolis hill. Meeting early ensures you beat the peak heat and the thickest crowds. Your guide will provide a brief overview of the day's historic route before you head toward the ancient citadel.

This tour was excellent and Annie was a phenomenal guide. We chose the full day tour since we only had one full day in Athens before a cruise. Annie was knowledgeable, engaging, entertaining and a font of historical and cultural information that really helped to bring Athens to life. The tour of the Acropolis - including the Parthenon and other ancient temples and landmarks - and the museum were done at a perfect pace to absorb the history and stories that make Athens what it is today. After enjoying a Greek lunch, Annie walked us through the marketplace and the old part of the city sharing information only a true expert would know. If you only have a day or two in Athens, this is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the cultural and see incredible sites. If you’re lucky enough to have Annie as a guide, you will walk away very knowledgeable and satisfied. The only bit of advice is that the meeting point is a little tucked into a side street so not easy to find. Suggest using GoogleMaps.

In general a good tour, Early access? Not quite as we got to the top of the Acropolis after 10am. You could definitely skip the Plaka part and the restaurant. The restaurant food was bad as well as the service. Yulia was an amazing guide though. She was fantastic and deserves 5 stars.
