This is an amazing way to experience the food and culture of Athens! Peggy was an amazing host that went above and beyond during the entire tour. Food choices and offerings were tailored to the groups taste and preferences. There was a LOT of food, and everyone was full. They even made up plates (using leftovers) for the homeless. Don’t miss an opportunity to experience this tour.

Anastasia was the best tour guide! We loved eating what the 'locals' eat, and not the commercialized food...it was all delicious! Anastasia was friendly to the group as well as the locals. She was extremely knowledgeable! You must ask for her for this tour!!

Our guide, Peter, did an amazing job of walking us through some of the best, local cuisines, while also sharing some of the rich history of the city. Peter was punctual at the start of the tour and throughout, and he would explain the meaning behind certain dishes while we got a taste of Athen's history, traditions and culture from the food of local Athenians. It was truly delicious and our group much appreciate Peter's guidance to some of the best food of our vacation!

My husband and I have done several food tours and this one was the BEST of all of them! We had our son and his family with us, which made the experience even more special. Peter was our guide for the afternoon, and he was absolutely awesome! His knowledge of the history, culture, and customs of how Greeks live and eat was outstanding. We learned so much; we ate so much; and we enjoyed the tour so much! As the 20-year old grandson said at the end of the tour: “This was the best food and overall experience of our 10-day adventure in Greece.”

What a GREAT way to explore the city of Athens! Maria our guide was beyond fabulous!!! Five stops with well over 20 different dishes plus Ouzo and three different wine samples. Would absolutely book again, especially with Maria!

Giannis did a great job walking us through all the hidden gems of the Athens food scene where the locals eat. We started with spinach pies and had about five or six stops, including a full seated feast with at least 10 courses of Mezza plates (like tapas). The most interesting was the Greek coffee stop watching ancient method of making coffee in hot sand like the Arabic nomads from yesteryear. We were so full by the end with a final stop for GYRO! He made the adventure fun and filled in with tidbits about Greece. One of our best food tours, and we like to do food tours in every city!

I had a great tour guide on this tour. There was so much to see and eat! Our guide was so passionate and she ensured we had the best experience. The food choices were excellent and she even convinced me to try coffee for the very first time in my life. We had some private spaces at some locations to enjoy the food away from the crowds, and that made it extra special.

Our guide, Adele, was fantastic. She explained all the different foods (and ouzo). This was an excellent way to explore Greek foods and cooking. As promised, there was more food than we could eat. Our final stop was for gyros street food. Adele provided to-go bags so we could eat it later. We had it for lunch the next day! Highly recommend this tour.

A fabulous way to explore Athens back alleys and markets on foot. We sampled plenty of great food at little local places you would never find on your own. This included mezze style eating in a little local Taverna which was delicious. Our guide Dimitria was fun, knowledgeable and gave great explanations about both the city and food. Highly recommended.
