Your tour begins at Marble Arch in Central London

Your morning begins outside the Cumberland Hotel at Marble Arch, near the Marble Arch Tube Station entrance. After meeting your guide, you'll climb aboard a comfortable executive mini-coach and head out of London toward the scenic English countryside.

Arrive at Stonehenge and explore the stone circle

Beating the crowds, you'll skip the long ticket lines and step up close to the massive stones that were hauled here 5,000 years ago. Wander the full perimeter of the monument at your own pace and learn how ancient people moved these massive rocks and what rituals might have happened here.

Discover Bath's Georgian streets and Roman heritage

After a coach tour of Bath's honey-colored Georgian townhouses, you have free time to grab a bite to eat or tour the Roman Baths where hot springs still bubble up as they did 2,000 years ago (tickets only included on Mondays and Tuesdays).

Journey to Windsor with royal commentary

Your tour finishes at Victoria Station in London

By early evening, you'll be back on the road to London, swapping stories about the day's highlights. The coach pulls into Victoria Station around 6:30 pm, giving you easy access to the Tube, buses, and trains to continue your evening across the city.

Good to know:

  • Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible. Please be aware there will be a walk of approximately 15 minutes from the parking lot to Windsor Castle. Parts of the walk are uphill and may not be suitable for passengers with mobility issues.

  • Time at Each Site: You'll spend approximately one hour and 10 minutes at Stonehenge, one hour and 30 minutes in Bath, and one hour and 30 minutes at Windsor Castle.

  • Please Note: On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Windsor Castle is closed. Roman Baths entry is included instead, and your guide will lead a Windsor town walking tour with castle photo stops.

  • St. George's Chapel: St. George's Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day so you will not be able to enter the chapel. Access to St. George's Chapel may be limited on busy days and during service.

  • Tour Changes: Windsor Castle is a working Royal residence and may close at short notice; your guide will provide a proper alternative.

  • Itinerary Changes: During the winter months, the itinerary reverses, stopping first in Windsor, then Stonehenge, then Bath before returning to London.

  • Weather Advisory: British weather can be unpredictable, so this tour runs rain or shine. Please check the forecast and dress in layers with waterproof gear, as you'll spend several hours walking outdoors at three historic sites.

  • Lunch: Lunch is not included on this tour. You'll have free time in Bath to grab a meal. We recommend bringing snacks for the morning portion of the tour.

  • Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the meeting point so the group can depart on time.

What to bring?

Wear comfortable shoes (waterproof shoes are a great idea!) that'll keep your feet cushioned since you'll be walking throughout the day. Bring your rain gear and dress in layers; this is England after all!

Please note the day involves approximately 11 hours of travel and walking, so comfortable shoes and snacks are essential for younger travelers.

What if I have concerns about my mobility on this tour?

Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible. This tour requires a moderate amount of walking while visiting the attractions with ample opportunities to rest while in transit between towns. The ability to board and exit the coach at each stop safely should be considered, as well as the shuttle transfer you'll take from the parking lot at Stonehenge and a 15-minute walk from the parking lot in Windsor to the castle, some of which is uphill.

What happens if Windsor Castle is closed?

Windsor Castle is a working Royal residence and may close at short notice. If this occurs, your guide will provide a proper alternative. Additionally, Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when Roman Baths entry is included instead and your guide will lead a walking tour of Windsor town with castle photo stops.

Is entrance to the Roman Baths included in this tour?

Roman Baths entry is included on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when Windsor Castle is closed. On all other days, entrance to the Roman Baths is not included. If you wish to visit the Roman Baths on other days, pre-book a ticket at romanbaths.co.uk. For summer tours, we recommend the 12:00 pm entry time, and for winter tours, the 3:30 pm entry time.

Is lunch included in the tour price?

No. Lunch is not included on this tour. You'll have approximately one hour and 30 minutes of free time in Bath to grab a meal at a cafe or tea room. We recommend bringing snacks for the morning portion of the tour as well.

At what time will we return to London after the tour?

The duration of this tour is estimated to be around 11 hours. However, please keep in mind that this is an approximation based on typical traffic conditions. Since road conditions can vary, we are unable to provide an exact guarantee for the return time to London.

The three portions of this tour are condensed versions as it covers three historic landmarks in different cities all within a single day.

How much time is spent at each site?

In Bath, you'll have one hour and 30 minutes to enjoy a coach tour of the city and free time to explore or visit the Roman Baths. Windsor is the last stop of the day with one hour and 30 minutes to tour the castle when it's open.
