Arrive at Stonehenge before the crowds for your expertly guided tour of the iconic Stone Circle. Your next stop is the picturesque city of Bath, where you’ll wander cobblestone walkways and admire the stately Georgian buildings before an optional lunch stop, perhaps to enjoy a classic English tea room. Next, you’ll head to the Royal residence of Windsor Castle to explore the elegantly-styled state apartments and reception rooms. After visiting the Royal Chapel of St. George, where several legendary Kings and Queens were laid to rest, you’ll board your private coach for a comfortable return journey to London.

During the winter months, the itinerary reverses, stopping first in Windsor, then Stonehenge, then Bath before returning to London.

A Mesmerizing Morning at Stonehenge

After a comfortable drive through the ancient rolling hills of county Wessex, you’ll be ready to stretch your legs as you make your way to this stunning prehistoric site. Your early morning arrival means you’ll already be on your way to discover the world's most famous Neolithic site before the big group tour buses arrive. Your guided tour begins at the iconic Stone Circle, where you’ll learn how this monument came to be and theories about its use. Before departing, you’ll also have time to check out the visitor’s center.

Explore Bath's Architectural Marvels

Perfectly preserved, cream-colored Georgian buildings will signal you’re arrival in the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath. Home to a natural hot spring, this ancient enclave was put on the map thanks to Roman ingenuity with the construction of the impressive Roman Baths in A.D. 60. By the 18th century, it had transformed into an opulent and relaxing spa destination for England’s elite. Enjoy a visual tour of the city’s elegant architecture from the comfort of your coach. You’ll have free time to set out and explore other highlight’s on your own, such as the 2,000-year-old Roman Baths, the Abbey Tower,or the the Jane Austin Museum. For a bite to eat, we’d recommend visiting one of Bath’s classic tea rooms for a uniquely English experience. Your tour guide will share recommendations.

Windsor and its Royal Elegance

Saving the most regal destination for last, you’ll end the day with a visit to the town of Windsor. This historic market district is nestled next to the River Thames, but it’s probably best known as home to the magnificent Windsor Castle. This towering residence has served as one of the official homes of the monarchy for over 1,000 years. Your ticket includes access to the state apartments, reception rooms, and the Royal Chapel of St George, the final resting place of many famous English monarchs.

Windsor Castle is a working Royal residence, and as such can be subject to last-minute closures. Please be aware there will be a walk of approximately 15 minutes from the coach park to Windsor Castle. Parts of the walk are uphill and may not be suitable for passengers with mobility issues.

St George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day so you will not be able to enter the chapel. Access to St George’s Chapel may be limited on busy days and during service.

On Tuesday & Wednesday, Windsor Castle does not open. On these days we will still visit Windsor Town but entry to the Castle will not be possible. We will include entry to the Roman Baths instead, and then when in Windsor your guide will conduct a walking tour of this beautiful, historic town which will include photo opportunities of the Castle. (applicable to Tuesday & Wednesday only)

This was an amazing tour! Tony was a fantastic tour guide with incredible knowledge about all of our sights. Wish we had some more time at Windsor Castle and Bath, but not really possible with drive time outside of London. Tony told us best way to maximize our time at both Windsor Castle and Bath, which was very helpful! We had just enough time at Stonehenge. Would highly recommend this tour if you have a limited amount of time in London.
