Good to know:
Guide Duration: The guided portion of this tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Your guide will lead you through the Tower grounds, but is not permitted inside the White Tower or the Jewel House.
Tour Changes: Certain areas of the Tower of London may close without notice due to special events, bank holidays, or unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, your guide will adjust the itinerary accordingly.
Thames River Cruise: A flexible ticket for a 30-minute Thames River Cruise is included and can be used at your leisure. Tickets are typically valid for one month (and sometimes longer), with the exact expiry date noted on the ticket you’ll receive during your tour. Please note your guide does not accompany you on the cruise.
Accessibility: Unfortunately, this tour is not wheelchair accessible due to uneven surfaces and old stone stairways. If you have concerns about your mobility, please contact us in advance. Or, for a tour fully catered to your needs and interests, consider joining our Private Tower of London Tour.
Bag Policy: Large bags, backpacks, and wheeled luggage are not permitted inside the Tower of London.

Ariana was fantastic again. We had her the day before on a tour of Westminster Abbey. It’s really amazing how knowledgeable she was on the history of both tours. In addition to her vast wealth of facts, she was also very entertaining and funny. We rate her a 10 out of 10!!!!

The tour was great, it was a little difficult to find the tour guide but we did find him. Our tour group was small, only 5 of us, so we got a really good explanation of what we saw. It was like our own little private tour, which was better than the 60-plus-person tour we saw. I highly recommend it! Keep up the good work!!!

My family of five participated. This was our first of 2 tours via The Tour Guy. Our guide was excellent and spoke loudly and clearly. Her knowledge was impressive. The Tower was more extensive than we had realized, but we walked away with much overall knowledge. We were particularly fascinated by Henry VIII's armour, the beautiful royal jewels, and the Ravens. We enjoyed speaking with a Beefeater (Yeoman Warder), too. Unfortunately we decided Not to take the Thames River Cruise, as it was simply too hot to enjoy it. Thank you!

We were a group of four and there were several others on the tour so it was a manageable size. The guide was great! Very knowledgeable, it was well paced and he offered to take pictures of us which was really appreciated. Got some great shots! I had not been to the Tower in over 20 years and this was a great way to experience it all over again. The newbies in our group enjoyed it as well. We also enjoyed the included Thames cruise very much. Would definitely recommend!
