Your memorable half-day trip begins at 8 am, where you’ll meet your group at Hotel Félix and hop into a comfortable van bound for the majestic UNESCO-listed Pena Palace, set in the charming hills of Sintra. Enjoy a guided tour through the palace’s exotic gardens and exteriors with trees from all over the world, and stop for captivating pictures of its vibrant red and yellow walls.
After a short drive to Torres Vedras, located in the Lisbon Wine Region, an expert viticulturist will lead the way through the winery's serene vines and into its renowned wine cellar. Learn how an ancient wine press has turned into a state-of-the-art cellar, and take a deep dive into the region's flavors during a tasting of six exceptional wines paired with local bites. Lastly, return to Lisbon around 2:30 pm, buzzing from your splendid day out.

Explore Sintra's Pena Palace
Your half-day tour begins at 8 am at Hotel Félix in Lisbon, where you’ll meet your expert guide and fellow group members, hop into a comfortable van, and set off toward Sintra's undulating landscapes. Thanks to your early start, you’ll arrive at the fairytale-like Pena Palace ahead of the crowds, allowing a more serene experience at this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Follow your guide through Pena Palace’s grand gate, enter its gardens accompanied by your guide and appreciate this magical and mysterious place as you admire the exotic trees, decorative fountains, and hidden nooks. Then, having soaked in the palace's charms, return to your van, ready for the next captivating leg of your journey.
Vineyards of Torres Vedra
Your half-day tour then continues to Torres Vedra, a gateway to the renowned Lisbon Wine Region. Meet your local guide and viticulturist waiting at one of the pristine wineries in the region, and settle in for an idyllic tour through the vines and into the ancient wine press.
Along the way, learn how time-tested techniques are now paired elegantly with modern equipment, and listen as your guide details the old Portuguese culture of the winemaking process. And be sure to have your camera ready, as the quaint houses and gardens on the grounds give even more charm to the already picturesque winery.
Wine Tasting and Petiscos
After your vineyard tour, you'll be well ready to immerse yourself in the flavors of the region's wine. Settle in for a tasting that includes one white, one rosé, and four distinct red wines, all nurtured in the very vineyards you've just admired. These wines are thoughtfully paired with an assortment of typical local "petiscos," and your expert wine guide will be on hand to answer questions and provide fascinating insight into the wine and bites you're sampling.
Then, with glasses emptied and stories shared, it's time to conclude this memorable half-day experience. Board your comfortable van once more and transfer back to Lisbon. By around 2:30 pm, you'll find yourself at Hotel Félix, giving you ample time to relax and craft your evening's adventures in Lisbon.
