Itinerary
Your tour begins at Skärgårdens Kanotcenter
Meet your guide at the Skärgårdens Kanotcenter just outside Stockholm. You will receive a safety briefing and instruction on proper paddle technique. Then suit up in a premium drysuit, neoprene boots, and gloves, to ensure you stay warm and dry throughout the tour.
Kayaking the winter Archipelago
Glide into the calm, icy waters of the Stockholm Archipelago. Your guide selects the route based on the day’s weather conditions, ensuring a comfortable pace for the group. Take in the beauty of the snow-covered islands under the soft winter light.
Traditional Swedish fika break
Take a well-deserved break on a peaceful island or back at the cozy kayak center (depending on the weather) to enjoy a traditional Swedish fika (coffee break). Enjoy a warm drink and sweet treat to relax, warm up your core, and recharge your energy.
Your tour ends with a wood-fired sauna by the sea
The tour concludes back at the center with access to a traditional wood-burning sauna by the sea for a truly Swedish finish. Towels are provided for your convenience. Between sessions in the heat, you can take a refreshing dip in the cold water, embracing the local custom. This relaxing experience is the perfect way to feel warm, recharged, and celebrate your winter adventure.
