Meet your guide at the Kayak Center

Meet your guide at Skärgårdens Kanotcenter on Resarö, located just outside Vaxholm. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide, secure your belongings, and change clothes as needed.

Safety introduction

Your guide will fit you with all necessary kayaking gear, including a paddling jacket for comfort. Before launching, receive a short safety briefing and land-based introduction to basic paddling techniques, ensuring you feel confident on the water.

Paddle into the sunset

Paddle out into the calm, quiet waters of the archipelago for approximately 5-8 kilometers. On your route, pass scenic islands and the Bogesund Nature Reserve, enjoying the magical atmosphere created by the reflective golden evening light.

Wildlife spotting with fika

Halfway through the tour, stop to enjoy a light fika break and refreshing lemonade on the water. Keep an eye along the shoreline for wildlife that becomes more active at dusk, including seals, beavers, oystercatchers, and herons.

Your tour ends at the Kayak Center

Paddle back toward the center as the last light fades. Your tour concludes back at Skärgårdens Kanotcenter.

You will meet your guide at Skärgårdens Kanotcenter on Resarövägen 10, located just outside Vaxholm. The center is about one hundred meters from the Engarn bus stop. The tour finishes at the same kayak center.
