The Aurora Borealis is a beautiful, beautiful anomaly, and spotting it requires science, not luck. Our guides aren't just drivers; they are Northern Lights Hunters. Earlier in the day, they look at the Aura forecast and cloud forecasts to map out the best hunting zones. That's how we ensure your best chance of a sighting. After pick up at the meeting point, the group will drive about 90 minutes outside of Reykjavik to find the best spot. You will experience intense excitement when you see this anomaly: it is a truly wise and humbling experience. Remember, your iPhone is powerful, but a small tripod is the key to capturing those amazing photos. We give you the technical know-how to bring home the magic.
