The Great Escape
You love Naples, but let’s be honest: your feet need a vacation from your vacation. Skip the hassle of booking ferries and taxis; this seamless escape begins with a speedy hydrofoil across the glistening Gulf of Naples. A quick transfer meets you at the port, whisking you straight through Ischia’s picturesque scenery to the gates of wellness.
Please note, you will receive your SNAV ferry tickets 24 hours in advance. In case of lack of availability, tickets may be issued for different times.
Departure from Naples Beverello is usually at 8:30 am, please arrive at least 30 minutes early. Go to the SNAV company assistance point, where you can show your ticket and board the hydrofoil.
The hydrofoil may stop in Procida, DO NOT disembark.
Once you arrive in Ischia, walk straight to the end of the pier. On the right, next to the ticket area, you’ll see the driver and a staff member with an “Arcadia” sign, that is your transfer.
Soak in the Volcanic Drama
This is no average pool. The Poseidon Thermal Gardens is where ancient geology meets modern luxury, offering over twenty pools fed by mineral-rich, volcanic hot springs. With temperatures from a bracing 59∘F to a muscle-melting 104∘F, your only decision is where to float or which hydro-massage jet to choose.
For entry to Poseidon Gardens, you will need to show your confirmation voucher.
A €5 cash deposit is required for the entrance wristband. Children under 11 years old are not allowed to enter the spa area, but can use the beach and the pools (there are two with freshwater and one with seawater).
Kneipp Paths
For those who like a little excitement with their serenity, you must tackle the notorious Japanese Kneipp Path, an alternating hot and cold water immersion that is guaranteed to leave you laughing (and energized).
Return to Refreshment
The volcanic heat will melt away every ounce of stress. Once you’re suitably sun-kissed and totally rejuvenated, your easy transfer will take you straight back to the port. You’ll return to Naples feeling like a brand-new person, ready to dive back into the mainland’s culture and chaos.
