Your day begins at Operngasse 4, Vienna, where your guide will be waiting to welcome you on board an air-conditioned coach. As the journey begins, your guide provides an introduction to the day's adventure, sharing insights into Austria's history and culture.
Scenic Drive
Relax and enjoy the scenic 4-hour drive from Vienna. The journey to the first stop is a beauty in itself. Watch the landscape unfold while your guide continues to provide stories and context on the charming towns and valleys you pass.
Schloss Ort Castle
Next, pause for a photo opportunity at Schloss Ort. This lakeside castle, perched on an island in Lake Traunsee, offers mesmerizing scenery. Step off the coach to stretch your legs and capture one of Austria’s most idyllic vistas.
Hallstatt
Arrive at the village of Hallstatt, and spend 2 hours nestled perfectly between alpine peaks and a shimmering lake. Your guide will lead a brief walking tour, followed by free time to explore. Ascend the Hallstatt Skywalk for panoramic views of the entire region.
Coach Ride
A change of scenery is ahead. Enjoy a relaxing, comfortable 1.5-hour drive from the alpine lakes of Hallstatt toward the historic city of Salzburg. This is a perfect chance to rest and recharge before you step into the world of Mozart.
Salzburg
Arrive in Salzburg, Mozart's birthplace, to spend 3 hours. Follow your guide through the city's main sites, exploring its baroque architecture, including the iconic Mirabell Gardens and Old Town. Then, use your free time to wander or to find a local treat.
Coach Ride
The final ride is a comfortable 3-hour cruise back to Vienna. After a wonderful day full of history and views, this is the perfect time to relax and reflect on the cultural and natural wonders you experienced.
