Itinerary

Meet your guide at Wein & Co

Your evening begins at Jasomirgottstrasse 3/5, right in front of Wein & Co, Vienna's legendary wine house and the beating heart of the city's modern wine culture. Your certified sommelier greets you with a chilled glass of Austrian Sekt, crisp and sparkling.

Taste premium Austrian whites with opening bites

Settle in as your first two whites arrive, likely a vibrant Grüner Veltliner and an aromatic Riesling. Your sommelier explains the terroir while a warm bread basket with olive oil and salted butter lands on the table, followed by the signature Piatto Grande.

Explore Austria's red wine regions with savory pairings

Shift to elegant Burgenland reds like Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt, paired with rich dishes such as beef tartare, wild broccoli, and Croque to share. The wines are velvety and structured, and each course brings out deeper fruit notes and earthy complexity.

Enjoy seasonal chef's specials

As the tasting continues, seasonal dishes arrive, like handmade pasta or other chef-driven surprises that change with the calendar. The pacing is unhurried, the flavors are layered, and every pairing feels intentional as you share plates and discover new favorites.

Step inside the Raritätenkeller

After your final pour, your sommelier leads you through a discreet doorway into the Raritätenkeller, Wein & Co's private rarity cellar. Surrounded by weathered wooden racks and rare vintage bottles, you'll hear how this iconic institution became Vienna's wine house.

Your tour finishes at Wein & Co

You emerge from the cellar well-fed, inspired, and maybe a touch tipsy. Your sommelier is happy to answer lingering questions or point you toward a nearby spot if the night isn't over yet.
