We thoroughly enjoyed Antonio's tour of Pompei. He's very knowledgeable and explains things clearly. We both learnt a lot during our 2 hours. He made sure we got to the good spots. We were booked for a 9:30am tour, and this had already changed twice, so we weren't very pleased to turn up on time and have to wait an hour for the rest of our group to arrive from Rome. Antonio was very professional and saw that we were looked after during our wait, but it shouldn't have happened.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, charismatic and from Pompeii which gave it a more unique authentic touch, she covered all the highlights of Pompeii and explained us in detail the history of the Pompeii civilization. Also answered questions and provided us time for refreshments. Perfect for our day trip!

Sasha was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable about Pompeii and kept us interested the entire time. You can tell he's been doing this for years and this is a true passion. Loved our tour and would highly recommend to anyone in the fence about getting some guidance throughout Pompeii!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He has an archeological background and you could tell- he loved sharing with us and even went longer to show us the new excavation site in progress. The only negative was we didn’t have earbuds like some of the other tour groups and it was hard to hear as it was crowded.

This tour is unbelievably interesting. You definitely need more time to explore the entire city. In one day, with the skip-the-line ticket , we were able to see the highlights. Our guide, Francesco, was engaging and shared interesting facts about the must-see areas.

Don’t book with this company. Worst experience. We arrived at our tour early and at our scheduled starting time we found our tour guide who told us that rest of the group are delayed, and we had to wait for them. It may take 30min or an hour for them to arrive but the tour would still end at around 12pm as scheduled. He offered for us to go inside but we would miss the tour because he starts at the entrance and he could offer no solution. We tried the tour guy in their US and Italy numbers but both just rang out several times. I sent several emails and have had no response. We had to book another tour which started at 11am and our tour still hadn’t started and we were told on the way out that our tour only started at 11.20am. I still have not heard from the tour guy. We are on a round the world trip and have been on more than 20 tours with Viator and GetYourGuide and they have always been contactable and resolved issues immediately. The tour guy - please contact me for my refund!!!

Our guide, Biaggio was fantastic and shared so much fascinating information about what Pompeii was like. We arrived at the meeting place on time, not realizing we would be met by a much larger group coming from Rome. Due to traffic issues, they arrived almost 30 minutes late. It did not limit the tour, however, and we enjoyed the experience.

This was an incredible two hour tour of Pompeii. Sacha was our tour guide, and he was amazing. He knew the history of the people, the city, and the excavations. I highly recommend this tour and specifically Sacha.

Best tour of Pompeii with Francesco, an experienced archaeologist and tour guide, in a very friendly atmosphere. In two hours time, Francesco explains it all, with the appropriate historical and scientific touches, without overdoing it. His explanations are accessible to all, easy to understand l. The tour was good and we got a taste of Pompeii. Our guide had a strong knowledge of the history of Pompeii and of Greek and Roman mythology. However, the tour started 30 min late because a group arrived late and then the guide did not extend the tour to accommodate the group carrying on to Sorrento - it felt rushed. Also the tour was advertised as only having 19 participants but there were a total of 24 visitors in our group. This was a little disappointing as every other Tour Guy tour experience has been exceptional.
