Itinerary
Your tour begins at HYDE Hotel
Meet your driver-guide at HYDE Hotel on Forster Street and get settled on the coach. As Galway fades behind you, hear quick, local insight on the city and the landscapes you’re about to cross on the way into County Clare.
Photo stop at Dunguaire Castle in Kinvara
Pause by the shores of Galway Bay for exterior views of Dunguaire Castle, a 16th-century tower house tied to the legacy of Guaire of Connacht, a medieval Irish king. Snap photos from the waterfront and take in the stone silhouette against the bay.
Choose an optional visit to Aillwee Cave
Next, stop at Aillwee Cave in the Burren, where you can opt to join an underground cave tour for an additional fee. If you skip the cave, use the time for coffee or a bite at the on-site café before getting back on the road.
Explore the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience
Arrive at the Cliffs of Moher and head out along the cliff-top paths for Atlantic views and a look at seabird colonies along the rock face. Your ticket includes entry to the official Visitor Experience, where the exhibits help explain the cliffs’ geology and coastal ecology.
Stop for lunch in Doolin
Then continue to Doolin, a small coastal village known for traditional music and casual pubs. Pick a spot for lunch, browse local crafts, and enjoy a slower moment before the afternoon scenery ramps back up.
Drive the Wild Atlantic Way back to Galway
Finish with a coastal return that leans into the Burren’s stark limestone terrain and wide-open sea views. Watch for landmarks like Blackhead Lighthouse as the route bends around bays and headlands on the way back toward Galway.
Your tour ends at Forster Street
Back in Galway, the coach returns to Forster Street, right where you started. Step off with a camera roll full of coastline, cliffs, and castle shots, plus a clearer sense of Ireland’s west-coast geography.
