The Jameson Bow Street Distillery

Established in 1780, John Jameson's whiskey has become one of the world's most iconic brands. You'll meet your knowledgeable local guide outsode and head into the historic factory where the famous whiskey was distilled for some 200 years. Though the main operation has now moved to County Cork, the Bow Street Distillery has been kept alive as a piece of true Irish heritage. You'll learn about the history of Jameson, tour the grounds of the distillery, and sample the great whiskey yourself.

You'll also taste Jameson's samples alongside whiskeys from around the world so you can appreciate the difference that Jameson's triple distilling process makes, and after the tour you'll also receive a complimentary Jameson cocktail. We recommend the classic Jameson and Ginger, a simple drink that tastes magical when properly made

Guinness Storehouse

Two decades before Jameson established his distillery, just on the other side of the River Liffey, Arthur Guinness signed a 9000 year lease on the land at St. James Gate. Here he established the brewery that is a symbol of Ireland, and also now its most visited attraction!

The queue to get inside can get very long at times, but your guide will help you skip the line and enter the interactive Guinness experience straight away. You'll see the brewing process first-hand and learn about the history and importance of this Irish success story, before exploring more of the 7-story atrium shaped like the famous Guinness Pint Glass.

Learn how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness, and understand why it takes precisely 119.5 seconds to have the optimal flavor, look, and balance. Included in the tour is a pint of Guinness, perfectly poured by the experts for you to enjoy while looking out over the city from the top floor.

Ireland's Oldest Pub

The tour ends outside the Brazen Head Pub. Established in 1198 and with nearly 1000 years of history, it is the perfect place to end this tour of Irish drink and stories. Your guide will wave goodbye to you here, so you're welcome to take photos outside or even pop in to buy yourself another Guinness or Jameson's. Sláinte!
