Your tour begins in Berlin City Center
Meet your expert, licensed guide outside the Hopfingerbräu on Ebertstraße 24, right next to the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. After a brief introduction, board a short train ride to the memorial site.
Train travel and Tower A
On the train, your guide will share the history of the camp system's development from 1936 until 1945. Arrive at the memorial and enter through Tower A to learn how Sachsenhausen became the Third Reich's first purpose-built concentration camp.
SS Prison Block
