Were shown round the sights by guide who knew a lot of information, probably too much commentary for most people. The gondola trip was good (once we were taken to the correct departure point). Surprised that guide does not carry some spare scarfs for those women who have not read the need to cover up for the Basilica).

We had the best guide, Clare. So knowledgeable with perfect communication skills and ability to guide a group. The best. Unfortunately the gondolier spend the entire time shouting to two other gondoliers about who knows what? Ok if it's a taxi in New York, but we were hoping for romance. At least for acknowledgement that we were in the boat

What a great experience. The palace is an amazing tribute to the art and architecture of Venice. Our tour guide, Roberta, was fantastic. Full of energy and knowledge. No issues finding our tour. The audio headsets were a big bonus.

We only had a few days in Venice and this tour was the perfect opportunity to see a lot in a short amount of time. It begins with Doge’s Palace before going into the spectacular St. Marks Basilica. (Both were Skip the line). Words cannot do justice to St Marks so it’s something you don’t want to miss. The skip the line benefit is critical because the lines get ridiculously long and you don’t want to waste time waiting in them. The tour ended with a Gondola ride which is a nice touch and really convenient especially if you hadn’t the opportunity to grab a private gondola before. (There are many private gondola drivers that you can easily walk up to and pay cash which are longer rides and go into various other canals). But the convenience factor at the end of this tour can’t be beat.
As always with the Tour Guy, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. This makes a big difference with these types of tours. We’ve taken numerous tours with The Tour Guy and they clearly make a point of hiring knowledgeable and qualified guides.
Hot and humid visit prolonging an interesting tour.

This was a great tour with the family. Great information about the Palace that I would have not known unless looking into it myself. The Basilica was rushed but I don't think that was at fault of our guide, it seemed like everyone was getting rushed through. The Gondola ride was nice, our gondolier wasn't the most personable but that was luck of the draw.
