Tuscany Wine Tour from Florence to Siena & Chianti

A day well spent!

We had a small group of 8 split over 2 cars comfortably. Our guide was wonderful - Lori clearly had a deep knowledge of Tuscany, the region and the history. The driver was also very friendly and knowledgeable. The wine tasting was quite generous.

Fun and worthwhile!

Our guide Anna was great: a sense of humor, energy, a light touch but a willingness to get more involved if needed. Two town destinations were Sienna and San Gimignano, which are truly beautiful and rich with history. Although Sienna is more famous, we just really loved San Gimignano. Its old world character is more pervasive and its charm is delightful. If I were a millionaire I’d find a summer villa there! The winery, Fontaleoni, is run by a sweet sister and brother combo. Great to see the winemaking process with the Tuscan countryside in the backdrop. We enjoyed the wines, especially the whites because they offer whites that go beyond the typical Pinot Grigios commonly available in the US. All around a great experience! Definitely recommended!

Beautiful views, delicious wine

We had a wonderful day with our tour guide, Anna. She provided us with just the right amount of guidance and information. Siena and San Gimignano were fascinating and beautiful. The winery we visited had delicious wine and food and provided us with the Tuscan countryside as our scenic backdrop. All in all, a great day!

Amazing Wine Tour

Yesterday’s wine tour with Lori and Cosimo was really great and is highly recommended. They were friendly, knowledgeable and a lot of fun! We learned about the unique regional wine processing at Fontalenoi and had a pleasant wine and food tasting. Then we explored authentic medieval towns of Sienna and San Gimignano. Lori shared her deep knowledge of interesting historical stories. Thank you for making it such a fantastic trip!!

Laura was an excellent guide ensuring we had all of the information of the area. Vineyard was an excellent choice. Family run operation, very knowledgeable and professional. Scenery of the area was breathtaking even in showery weather! Highly recommend this tour.

A perfect taste of Tuscany!

This tour was a great taste of Tuscany with visits to two of my favorite medieval towns (Siena and San Gimignano), plus an unforgettable lunch and wine tasting at Fontaleoni! Thanks so much to our guide Anna for a great job - excellent English, fun stories, and lots of good history.

Just perfect

Anna and Ivan were both perfect tour hosts. To the point, welcoming and educative. Long day but they keep you on time and moving and are real professionals. Go for it. Take a break from busy Florence with a day in the country side!

Perfect day trip from Florence

This was a perfect way to get a taste of the Tuscan countryside. Our tour guide was Anna, and she was friendly and informative. Our driver Cosimo was safe and professional. The two towns were interesting but the lunch at the winery was the highlight of the tour. Delicious food and wine in a beautiful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed the day!

The best day trip from Firenze!

We were recommended this and it was even better than we had hoped for. Our guide Anna was the best and was so knowledgeable on absolutely everything to do with the trip plus a variety of Firenze related topics such as the Medici family, places to visit and her general Italian history also was amazing and you can see she loves her work! Cosmo was an amazing driver and kept us feeling safe along the various terrain from city to country. The vehicle was new, clean and comfortable. If you want to experience Tuscany’s beautiful Sienna and San Gimignano, as well as visit a Chianti winery and try 5 different wines made by that family all whilst enjoying a light lunch, then this trip is for you.

Very enjoyable tour!

Well organized and enjoyable tour! Anna, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly and constantly ready to go the extra mile to help us! Ivan, our driver was always on time and knew the roads well. The stops were well chosen, including the winery. Great way to experience the Tuscan countryside!
