Montmartre Food and History Walking Tour

Great tour!

Nkayis a super guide! This tour of Montmartre is informative and delicious. She gave us so much insight into the area, the artists and development topped off by food that couldn’t be more French: croissants, escargot, macaroons, various cheeses and wines. We were a very small group-just 4- and at the end we felt we had made new friends. I wish you could book a tour based on the guide because we would book with Nkay over and over- perfect tour!!!

Great Food and Learning

Nkay, was a great tour guide. She was patient and knowledgeable and took us around and wined and dined us. We didn’t have to order anything, she took care of it.

What a fun tour! Julien was a great guide and we got to sample some delicious treats and savory snacks (along with some wine!). Some fun tidbits about Montmartre as well - there is definitely some steps and incline put in, which just made us feel like we earned our food :)

Great guide, wonderful variety of food and history

Julian was a most fabulous guide, friendly, informative, great story teller. It was lightly raining throughout our springtime tour, but that didn’t detract from the adventure or enthusiasm! There were just 4 of us on our tour, which made for an intimate personalized experience. We had croissants, crepes, and a mid-tour meal with salmon, salad and cod. We went on with gorgeous macarons which we ate at the steps of the Sacre Coeur, and finished with a generous charcuterie platter. Wine at two stops was delicious! Definitely recommend The Tour Guy for your trip!

Amazing experience

Very relaxing and informative. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and easygoing, sharing much about her own experiences living in Paris. Our group had only six participants so we had a very personal experience. Would definitely do another tour like this again!

Food walking tour

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Or tour guides NK and Johanna were great and were one of the highlights of the tour. We had a small group and they provided great historical information of Paris and Montmarte. Ib woods highly recommend this tour. Best Regards, Glenn Rose

Nkay was a terrific guide and provided many insights into Montmartre's history.

We enjoyed the food and tour. Hexcel made the uphill walk easy as we stopped often for food or to listen to an interesting bit of history. Arrive hungry to enjoy sweet treats and a full meal.

Fun Time in Montmartre!

We had a very nice visit to Montmartre as out Tour guide was excellent! She was very knowledgeable, funny and engaging. We learned a lot on our tour and also enjoyed some great food. NK was a great tour guide and represented your company very well!

Wonderful Tour

Our tour ended up just being me and my husband and our amazing tour guide NK! We spend the time wandering through Montmartre learning about its history and sampling food along the way. We made our way through the town eating croissants, crepes, escargot with bread and wine, macarons, and then after making our way down the famous Montmartre steps we stopped to enjoy wine and cheese. NK walked at a leisurely pace and was so interesting and full of so many historical stories. She also shared her personal experiences of living in Paris. We enjoyed the day and her company so much. We highly recommend this tour. Thanks NK!

Montmartre Food & History with NKay

This was such a great tour. It was an easy walk and didn’t feel quite so vertical because of the wonderful food stops, historical lesson stops, and photo op stops. NKay was so knowledgeable about the area and she made it very interesting. For example, we would not have known about Picasso’s old studio if she had not pointed it out. And we loved how she brought us up on the backside of Sacre Coeur so my family could see the Eiffel Tower in the distance. It was truly memorable!
