My husband and I had both seen David before but never like we had on this tour. It was wonderful! Our tour guide was engaging and made David even more amazing than we remembered. He not only knew everything about the history of David but also about many of the other interesting art pieces in the museum. Don't hesitate - book this tour!

Our guide was Cossetta. She was so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. We loved our 5pm tour because, at the end, we were able to spend a little more time with the statue without such a large crowd.

Our guide quickly went through some of the history of Florence, we had a close up view of David while she told us more about Michelangelo’s style and how the work came about.

Having a guide while visiting the museum has been so worth it. We learned so much. It brought the gallery alive and helped us learn how the art in the gallery evolved. Great guide! I appreciated that he studied art here in the city as well!

Our guide was very knowledgeable. Very much worth it. Check-in was easy and everything was on schedule.
On these tours the guide has a microphone and transmitter and each person gets a receiver and ear bud. Sometimes the surrounding noise from so many people made it difficult to hear our guide. I would suggest using double ear buds instead of single ear bud and maybe a better quality microphone for the guide that would help filter out more of the surrounding noise.

Very basic tour. Tour guide knowledgeable of Michelangelo’s process for sculpting and of David statue, but no discussion of anything else in museum. And her description of who David as a Bible person did not match the Bible. So basically 45 min line to get in and then about 45 min discussion of sculpting process and walking around the statue. Would not recommend unless your only way to get in to see David.
