Skip-the-Line Acropolis Tour with Parthenon and Museum

Acropolis Tour

I took my parents (in their 70s) on this tour in July 2024. This tour is no joke and not meant for those with mobility challenges. Additionally, there was a heat wave the week we visited with temps in 100s causing the government to close the Acropolis in the afternoon for safety. That contributed to very crowded and hot mornings. I enjoyed the tour, but my parents did not as it was simply too much for them physically. Our guide was knowledgeable of the history, but walked too fast for my parents to keep up. This is a good tour for those whose don’t have mobility issues. I would do this tour again, but leave my parents at the museum.

Fantastic tour!

Artemis was our guide and she was very experienced. We could tell that guiding this tour was second nature to her. She was also very passionate about her country and its history. We hear about the Greeks frequently reclaiming their land and culture throughout history, and this could only happen through the love the Greeks have for their country. We could see that in Artemis and it was beautiful. There was time to see everything and it didn’t feel rushed. Very organized operation!

This tour was awesome! Our guide Myrto aka Shorty was the best! We had a few people get sick from the heat on the tour and she did a wonderful job making sure everyone was ok and tried to get us in the shade as much as possible. She was extremely knowledgeable and knew Athens history to a T. I wish I was able to give her more than 5 stars because she deserves it. You won't be sorry if you book this tour! Amazing Tour, Amazing Guide

Everything about our tour was phenomenal. Our guide was also very attentive and made sure guests knew where restrooms and water status/fountains were located along the way. He also appeared connected to the history of the Acropolis and is a native of Greece. We thoroughly enjoyed his stories and rich knowledge of history. Overall we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this tour.

Informative and personal

It did not feel like a school field trip but more like a conversation with someone who wanted you to share their joy of their cultural heritage.

Wonderful tour

Elena was a wonderful guide, giving us much information in a very understandable way. My husband fell at the end of the Acropolis tour and required medical attention. She was most efficient in getting us the help we needed. We very much appreciated her calm, professional manner. Thank you.

Excellent tour!

Sappho was very knowledgeable and engaging. She did not rush the tour but seemed to tailor it to the interests of the group. She even offered recommendations to us for restaurants and other sightseeing opportunities for the remainder of our trip.
