Itinerary
Start your adventure in Verona
Your tour begins at the end of the Scaligero Bridge next to the medieval Castelvecchio Castle. You will meet your expert guide and board a comfortable minibus for a scenic one-hour drive through the Italian countryside toward the southern shores of Lake Garda.
Cruise around the Sirmione peninsula
Next, you will board a boat for a 30-minute cruise around the narrow Sirmione strip. You'll see the 13th-century Scaligero Castle from the water and pass the Grotte di Catullo, which are the ruins of a massive Roman villa built over 2,000 years ago.
Walk the historic streets of Sirmione
Then, follow your guide on a walking tour through the pedestrian-only center of Sirmione. You will learn about the town’s history as a strategic military outpost and a luxury thermal spa destination while passing through its flower-filled squares and narrow stone corridors.
Enjoy free time by the lake
After the guided walk, you have 90 minutes to enjoy Sirmione at your own pace. You might choose to browse the high-end boutiques, grab a quick bite at a local cafe, or even take a refreshing dip in the clear lake water at Jamaica Beach.
Cross the water to Lazise
By the afternoon, you will board your private group boat for a relaxing transit to Lazise, a town known for its well-preserved medieval walls and harbor. This short journey offers a different perspective of the lake's vast blue expanse and the surrounding mountain foothills.
Explore the oldest town in Italy
Next, spend time discovering the artisanal shops and lakefront bars of Lazise. You will have time to grab a refreshing gelato or enjoy a scenic stroll as you explore the cobbled streets and historic architecture of this ancient lakeside village.
Your tour finishes in Verona
Finally, you will regroup with your guide for the scenic return drive to Verona. You’ll arrive back at the Scaligero Bridge, feeling refreshed from the lake breeze and enriched by the region's history. From here, you are perfectly positioned to enjoy a late dinner in the city center.
