Valentina was a wonderful tour guide. Of the 5 tour guides we had on our trip, many with more pricey operators (Context) she was the best.
Valentina was very knowledgeable about her subjects (Colosseum, Forum) and willing to be flexible with us and our desire to see more (we went up to the terraces of the Palatine Hill).
She was patient and very engaging with the kids.
Valentina also was willing to be flexible and spend more than the allotted time with us to explain the full Forum and to help us with a lost item.
Valentina does have a slight accent (& sometimes spoke quickly) so my younger daughter missed a couple things at the beginning before she got accustomed.
The kids will never forget the details she shared on the types of rocks used to build the Colosseum, the elevators, arena floor, headstones, and- in the Forum- the spot where Julius Caesar was cremated. She was knowledgeable to answer every question they had.

We had amazing tour with Marina, we learned a lot of interesting details and facts about Colosseum and Forum. Marina touched all interesting facts and provided detailed answers on all our questions.
We also glad we skipped long lines, because lines for tours much shorter and faster.

Our guide, Daniel, was Amazing with our 11-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter. He made them feel engaged and comfortable asking questions. My wife and I also very much enjoyed the experience and even though pricey, would fully recommend it to anyone.

I cannot express enough what a special experience it was to have Michele as our host for the tour. Our 8 year old was completely entertained and learned a lot. The adults in our group had the best times as well - he was funny, engaging , smart and so kind. It was a super hot day, but he worked so hard to make sure our experience was fantastic. The worst part was having to say goodbye! If I could him more stars, I would! Thank you Michele!!!!

We were contracted out to another tour guide rather than someone through The Tour Guy. We were at our meeting place on time but our guide was late however the company was very great at letting us know that someone was still on their way. The tour guide seemed surprised that it was a private tour with children so there was no preparation to orient the tour towards our children’s interests unlike how the tour was advertised. That being said, the guide was was very informative and as an adult I really enjoyed his relaying of the history of the Colosseum. Unfortunately, our 5 and 8 year old lost interest pretty quickly.
