Staying in Rome city center and hoping to find a cooking class last minute? Look no further! Where better to learn authentic Italian cooking than in the heart of the city—Rome’s bustling food district. You’ll hand-craft your fettuccine and maltagliati from scratch, prepare traditional spritz, and that sweat you put into kneading the dough will be well worth it when you taste your own homemade pasta. You’ll never go back to Olive Garden after you’ve tasted true Italian pasta made from scratch!

You’ll meet your friendly chef and fellow students right off Piazza Navona. You’ll learn about the simple ingredients that make such memorable foods, not to mention the many different types of pasta you could cut from your rolled-out dough. Plus, you’ll discover the art of preparing the perfect spritz, adding a sparkling touch to your culinary experience. So, tie that apron on, wash your hands, sip that wine (or spritz!), and get to kneading!

We took the homemade pasta making class, and it was the absolute best experience! Our teacher was great, there was a family of 6 and another couple, plus us - perfect size group. We were able to eat what we made, there was a glass of wine and a dessert drink provided. In nearly two weeks visiting, this was my favorite thing we've experienced. The restaurant/store is off the beaten path, but close to the main street. They have patisserie items, food items to go, candies, coffees, wines, and a full restaurant. Next time we are in Italy, we will absolutely be back!

Wonderful class!

This was an amazing night. It was so fun to make pasta. Chef Maria was wonderful. We learned about different pasta and what sauce it goes with. We got to eat our pasta with the rest of our classmates and it was delicious.
