We took this tour that included both the colosseum and Roman Forum/Palatine hill. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the site and was very good about keeping the group together and navigating the crowds. We did book an 8:30am tour but were then notified that it would be at 10:30. I would have prefered the 8:30am as it would not have been as hot but we managed to fill the morning by going to Santa Maria Majorie church beforehand, so it all worked out.

Marina was an excellent tour guide! She was extremely knowledgeable and we learned much about Roman history through her. Although we were out during peak tourist hours, our guide ensured that we stayed together and were able to see/learn about all the prominent sites in adequate time! We went on some other tours while in Rome, and this tour company and Marina were definitely our favorites!

We loved our guide Marina! Very knowledgeable and full of very interesting information about Palatine Hill, the ruins, and the Colloseum that really helped put all the history into perspective. She guided us expertly through the very challenging crowds and was very conscientious about our comfort and well-being. The microphone and earbuds made it very easy to hear everything she said despite all the chaos and noise. Definitely worth the premium for the semi-private tour - much more pleasant with a small group and much easier to get around.
