In a professional kitchen in Piazza Cavour, your experience begins with an introduction from your teacher for today: a friendly, experienced local chef. Soon you’ll be tying up your apron to start cooking, beginning with your tiramisu. With dessert made and safely in the fridge, your chef will show you the secrets of making great Italian pasta from scratch before you sit down to eat your creations while sipping a glass of wine.
Pasta and Tiramisu Class Description
Your 2.5-hour Rome food experience includes:
Hands-on instruction from professional chef
Use of professional kitchen and equipment
Homemade pasta meal with a choice of sauce

Tiramisu dessert followed by coffee or limoncello

Delicious Tiramisu
Believed to have been invented in Treviso back in 1800, this beloved dessert soon became popular all across Italy. Made with simple ingredients like savoiardi (ladyfingers), mascarpone cheese, and eggs, it’s an indulgent treat that can be easy to make—if you know how. With your chef guiding the way, you’ll concoct your own sweet dessert with enough time for it to chill and soften before indulging.
Authentic Pasta from Scratch
Few things are more Italian than pasta and after this cooking class, you can wow your friends at home with your authentic pasta-making skills! Mix and knead your own dough using fresh eggs and flour, while your chef shows you the best preparation techniques and the various cutting methods popular in Italy from tiny tagliolini to the broad strips known as pappardelle.

With your pasta freshly made, you’ll choose your sauce from favorites such as carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, and alfredo, and then you’ll sit down with your group to savor your homemade lunch or dinner. Enjoy a glass of wine with your meal, then get ready for dessert!
After eating your homemade tiramisu, you’ll be served a classic Italian coffee or a glass of limoncello to end your Rome culinary experience.
