Alessandro was a knowledgeable host, the food was good and the wine better. I was a bit surprised that the restaurant picked the wines, but with Alex’s knowledge he was able to keep us informed throughout the meal.

Alex was a fantastic tour guide. There were 3 of us for dinner so it was a nice atmosphere to ask questions. He took the time to discuss not only the food and wine, but also give history of the neighborhood we were in. It was a wonderful experience for our first night in Rome.

When Alessandro met us in the Piazza Minerva, he told us it would be just the three of us! What a treat and a highlight of our stay in Rome! As a lifelong Roman, Alessandro regaled us with stories and information about the pairings of Italian wines with the delicious food at Casa Bleve.
