You'll meet your local guide and small group of 25 or fewer people at a easy to reach location near the Colosseum (exact directions can be found on your voucher). There, you'll get a taste of what you'll see and experience before heading off to your skip-the-line entry at the Colosseum. Here you'll walk through the infamous Gladiator's Gate to the Arena Floor that most tourists can't access.

Meet at the green souvenir kiosk in front of the "Colosseo" metro stop, located just outside the lower level. A friendly representative will be there holding a sign with our company name on it.
Government-issued ID for entrance to the Colosseum. Archaeological sites have uneven terrain so wear comfortable sneakers. Bring sunscreen and a water bottle during the hot summer months.

We had a party of 7 with two kids and two seniors and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Eleonora! She was very insightful showing us before photos from a book so we could appreciate the ruins. We ended up buying the book in the gift shop it was so cool! It was a hot and crowded day, but she found us shade along the way and used the time to educate us on what we were about to see. I recommend this tour.

Our family had a great time on our tour. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable. We saw many things in a relatively short period of time. The Colosseum is absolutely amazing. Depending on how long you are in Rome, it could be worthwhile to come back to The Roman Forum because it is huge and just can't be fully covered in 2 hours even though our guide did a great job trying. I highly recommend this tour. It was a great way to start our vacation.

We took this tour today and I can’t write this review quickly enough. I loved his narrative. Everything from his pace, his expansive knowledge, his energy, his passion, and his humor was over the top excellent. As the title says, Elizabetta was absolutely wonderful. Not only was she our personal historian, but she was always watchful of if some tour members needed a break, needed water, or anything else. She even suggested the best spots for pictures, and we never felt rushed. I highly recommend her to anyone who is interested. She even brought a folder full of illustrations!
