If you’ve ever tried to navigate Rome’s underground wonders, you know it can feel like piecing together a puzzle, with scattered sites and limited access. With us, skip the line to these historic tombs and step into the Capuchin Crypts adorned with the bones of 3,700 friars. Visit Santa Maria in Cosmedin and Pope Hadrian’s Crypt, uncovering the stories of popes and martyrs buried below. With transportation included, this tour connects you to Rome’s most haunting and fascinating sites with ease.
Make your way to Piazza Barberini in central Rome, where you’ll meet your guide holding a sign in front of the fountain (Fontana del Tritone). Along with a small group of up to 25 people and your engaging guide, you’ll walk a couple of minutes to the Capuchin Crypts to view the hauntingly beautiful Bone Chapels. Meet your friendly guide in central Rome in front of the Fontana del Tritone at Piazza Barberini. A representative will be there holding a sign with The Tour Guy name on it. Your tour will end at Bocca della Verità.
Wear comfortable shoes for this walking tour. In spring and autumn, we recommend bringing a light jacket.

The Crypts unexpectedly were beautiful. The catacombs had layers of history, and both destinations were very different. Our guide Monika made the tour amazing, she shared her knowledge with an air of humor that was quite enjoyable. Lastly our driver navigated the streets with an expertise that left me in awe. We had Arvin as our tour guide. Very informative and organized. He took great care to insure that all participants knew how to return especially since the drop off location needed to change. We found his handling of the tour indicated he has much tour guiding experience. Tour itself was filled with new and valued experiences. Would highly recommend. On another note we found the tour guy company’s level of communication was far superior to other companies used in the past. Again would highly recommend this company!

The Capuchin Crypts tour and the guide were great. The catacombs tour was not that interesting and not worth the time and money, especially because the guide was not that interesting and hard to hear.
