We booked after seeing strong reviews but our guide Iman was beyond that. He is so passionate about the history, art and architecture of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s, he makes the experience that much more.
We knew if we didn’t book a professional we wouldn’t get the full experience of these breathtaking places. If you are on the fence and feel you can save some money by walking around by yourself, I strongly urge you to reconsider. Not only was Duisike knowledgeable, but he was enthusiastic about the subjects and a wonderful storyteller, adding insights , the interactions between the artists and the patrons, and the breathtaking detail of the masterpieces.
Duisike was also very cognizant that the team stayed together, and was happy to answer all questions.
we love that he had blown up photographs of some of the artwork to bring attention to specific individuals in details before we arrived in the actual rooms where the Art was hung. altogether a wonderful tour.

I highly recommend Roman Guy Tour to visit the Vatican. It is such a huge place to visit that without our guide we wouldn't have had the time to see and know what to look/notice there. Our tour of the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica was very much enjoyed. Our tour guide made the experience fun and informative. The pace was relaxed and we covered the main areas of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. The tour started and ended on time, plus we had the short-cut to St. Peter's Basilica which was definitely worth it. Would recommend this tour for those that would like to see the best of the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica in a 3 hour tour

From start to finish it was a terrific tour. Excellent upfront communication via text & Whatsapp (be sure to have that app loaded as several tours use that communication method). The check in process went smoothly & on time Our guide was funny and delightful as she provided interesting stories about the Vatican Museums, the art and sculpture, and St Peter’s Basilica. I can’t imagine coming all this way and not doing a tour. Not only to get a deeper and richer experience, but to avoid going through 2 security lines. Even though we were there in early March, there are still scores of people. We went through security to get into the museums, and then went directly to the Basilica. Highly recommend The Roman Guy—we also did their Trastevere Market & Pasta making class which was one of the best family experiences of our trip.
