Itinerary
Board your evening cruise on the Vltava
Meet at Dvorakovo embankment, pier no. 17, next to Štefánik bridge. Step aboard and pick your spot on the open upper deck or inside the climate-controlled salon. Arrive early to settle in.
Cruise past the illuminated Prague Castle
As you glide along the river, Prague Castle rises on the hill to your left. This thousand-year-old complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, glows against the night sky. Your audio guide shares stories of Czech kings who ruled from these walls.
Pass beneath the legendary Charles Bridge
You'll float directly under Charles Bridge, the oldest standing bridge over the Vltava, built in 1357. Look up at the 30 baroque statues lining both sides. This Gothic landmark has connected Old Town and Lesser Town for over 600 years.
Admire the Dancing House on the riverbank
On the right bank, the Dancing House stands out with its curved, modern design. Locals call it Ginger and Fred after the famous dancers. Architect Frank Gehry completed this bold building in 1996, and it still sparks debate among Prague residents.
Pass the Rudolfinum and Kampa Island
Next, you'll see the neo-Renaissance Rudolfinum concert hall, home to the Czech Philharmonic. Then the boat glides past Kampa Island, separated from the mainland by a narrow canal called Čertovka. Locals nickname this area Prague's Little Venice.
