Your tour will begin at Pont de l'Alma metro station, located at Cafe Pierre Herme, Pl. de la Résistance, 75007 Paris. A representative will be there holding a sign with our company name on it. Your tour will end at the entry of the Versailles Gardens.
We recommend bringing a bottle of water with you. We also recommend wearing a pair of comfortable shoes as there is quite a bit of walking involved, especially if you want to spend more time in the gardens.

Our guide, Dmitri, did a fantastic job of keeping us together and telling us just enough facts in each room without making them blur together. The Bluetooth headsets were easy to use and clear to understand, and while we covered a lot of ground I never felt rushed. This was my second Tour Guy excursion, and it won't be my last.

Our tour guide Will was FANTASTIC!! With over 20 years experience as a guide , his knowledge, friendliness, organization and insider knowledge made for an incredible tour of Versailles for my family and me .. The self guided garden tour is an incredible experience as well! highly recommend renting an electric cart to tour the grounds and TRIANON. they seat 4. VERSAILLES IS A MUST SEE WITH WILL who is originally from England ..

We were impressed with the organization and ease of this tour from start to finish. Once we reached Versailles, we were each equipped with a headphone and radio which made it easy to hear our guide and follow her instructions. Melanie was knowledgeable, light-hearted, and caring. We learned a lot thanks to her, and she helped everyone on our 16 person tour with their questions.

Tour guide was difficult to understand due to his accent and basically just went through a script. I was under the impression by the tour description on line we would have the guide at least walk us into the garden and give a brief explanation. This did not happen nor did he give us any opportunity to ask questions. And, the tour ended 20 minutes early which would have allowed for questions. Overall the group was too large to be effective. Thus, the two to three star rating.
