Your tour begins at Camí de l'Escullera, Palma
Meet your guide near the port and board the coach. Then get comfortable as you leave the waterfront behind and head across the island.
Settle in for the coach ride to Porto Cristo
Watch Mallorca shift from city streets to inland villages. Your guide shares quick context on the island’s limestone terrain, which helped carve the cave systems you’re about to visit.
Arrive near Cuevas del Drach and get oriented
Before you go underground, your guide sets expectations for stairs, footing, and the walking route. Then you head toward the entrance as the air cools and the soundscape changes.
Enter the Cuevas del Drach cave route
Follow the lit paths through vast chambers where stalactites and stalagmites rise like stone drips frozen in time. Along the way, learn how water and minerals slowly shaped the caves.
Reach Lake Martel and hear live classical music
Step into the grand lake chamber and pause as musicians perform in the cavern. The acoustics and reflections on the water make this feel like a concert hall built by nature. You can also take an optional 5-minute boat ride on Lake Martel.
Stop at a Mallorca pearl factory and shop
After the caves, visit a pearl factory/shop for a short break. Browse displays, stretch your legs, and pick up a souvenir if you’d like before the return ride.
Your tour ends at Camí de l'Escullera, Palma
Ride back to Palma and return to the original meeting point. From here, it’s easy to continue along the marina, grab a meal nearby, or head back to your hotel.

Please Note: This tour includes about 1,200 meters (.75 miles) of walking inside the caves and around 250 steps. A handrail is available during the visit.
Photography: Photography is allowed in the caves, but flash is prohibited.
Please Note: Prams are not permitted inside the caves.
Dress Code: There is no strict dress code, but comfortable, non-slip footwear is recommended.
Weather Advisory: The caves stay cool year-round, with temperatures typically between 18 and 20°C.
