Special Access Colosseum Arena Floor Tour through the Gladiator's Gate

Good overall job. Meeting place was confusing at first.

Bogdan complemented the amazing visual experience with his extraordinary storytelling abilities and humor (“so they say”… you just had to be there). He had us on the edge of our seats dispelling all the rumors and myths, giving us the historical facts as only he could deliver. My family talked about the experience for days and will give us a memory for a lifetime.

Great tour with a great guide. Maybe skip the cost of the arena floor access.

The colosseum is a must-see, no doubt. And our tour guide, Bogdan, was great, pointing out details we would have otherwise missed and providing historical context. Unless you are a history buff and super excited about the arena floor, I would recommend skipping the extra cost. You can see everything just fine from the upper levels. But DO NOT skip the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. The view from the hill is spectacular and the historical context from the guide really brings the remains of the forum to life.

Our guide was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and passionate about the history and made it come alive.

I enjoyed very much the tour. Alessia was excellent and knowledgeable. She was very kind too. Very informative tour. I highly recommend the tour.

Great tour w/kids!

4 adults, 4 kids with ages between 5-10. This was one of our highlights of Rome. Francesca did an amazing job giving us historical background and small nuggets not normally given (this was my second tour of the colosseum after almost 15 years and I learned a lot of new things).

The tour guide Eleanora really knows her business. She knows facts and myths and is a very engaging and fantastic storyteller.

Made the colosseum come alive!

The stories about the gladiators and the history of the temples captured our attention and imagination. We had several young children and teens and she was very inclusive of them and tailored the information for the various age groups. She clearly loved her work and sharing her knowledge.

Loved our tour with Serena. She is endlessly knowledgeable and kept us engaged and answered all of our questions. Even after 3 hours we didn’t want it to end! She went above and beyond and even gave us a recommendation for lunch (which by the way was incredible). Highly recommend!
