This is a small museum so the skip the line part is the most valuable piece. Our guide was knowledgeable and nice but for some reason wanted to show us everything else in the museum before taking us to the David. There are other very interesting things there but I would have preferred her showing us the David first and then the other interesting things.

Our guide was Alessandra. She was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant.
She was able to spark our interest in The David and other art paintings as well.
She knows the Tuscan background intimately.
She even showed us the two Stradivarius instruments.
Truly outstanding and a memorable experience at thr Accademia.

It was very informative. Never felt rushed. Especally like the fact that it wasn't crowded and after the tour we stayed behind to take more pics and walk around. Loved this tour.

Our guide Francesca was excellent. The information she provided gave us some background to the development and importance of art in Florence in that era. The crowds definitely seemed less than during the day and after the tour we could stay and wander at will until closing time. Highly recommended! Thanks, Janet
