Meet your local guide at Piazza della Santissima Annunziata near the big statue. A representative will be there holding a sign with our company name on it.
Bring a little cash with you, for lunch, gelato, and trippa. Since this is a walking tour, you'll need comfortable shoes. Avoid bringing large bags, since both the Uffizi and Accademia require you to check them. And finally, the Uffizi does not allow visitors to bring liquids inside the museum, so do not bring open food or drink. Baby bottles or medicine liquids are acceptable.

I was at Florence for only one day, so had to make the most of it. I’m so glad I gone with a tour guide. No line ups for any of the museums and I felt like a VIP. The tour guide has a history degree (talk about over qualified) and really appreciated all the stories and the backgrounds of the paintings and sculptures.
I was tired but wish I had more time. realized that we could have easily spent a whole day in just any one of the museums but I’m glad to have hit the key spots.

We had an amazing tour of Florence with Marta! She kept a perfect pace where we could spend enough time with each of the major works of art and understand their significance but also managed to fit in all the important sights. Marta’s knowledge of Florence culture and history added depth to the experience plus she is so fun and full of energy. I highly recommend this tour to orient yourself to Florence and what a plus to have the group tour passes and entrance times, no waiting in lines!

This tour is definitely weighted more towards art and art history than the history of the city itself. While interesting, we were hoping for more history and more stops throughout the city at points of historical significance.
Our guide was lovely and incredibly knowledgeable about art and specifically the various artworks we saw as part of this tour - you could certainly feel her passion.
